The current invention relates to a moisture-hardening composition that contains, in addition to a silane-functional polymer with end groups of formula (I), a reaction product that can be manufactured from an amino silane with primary amino groups and an alkene that is free of silane groups. The compositions are characterized by improved expandability with concurrent high reactivity, good adhesion characteristics, and high tear strength and are suited especially for use as elastic bonding substance or sealant.

Polyamines A1 of formula (I) or (II). They can be easily synthesized from readily available raw materials and have no primary amino groups or only a low content of primary amino groups and thus exhibit hardly any blushing. Their viscosity is relatively low, compared with polyamine/polyepoxide adducts of the polyamine on which polyamine A1 is based. Thus epoxy resin compositions can be formulated that are free of benzyl alcohol and free of blushing.

Also disclosed are the production and use of the inventive compositions, especially as a sealant and adhesive.

Optionally, the curing agent furthermore contains 0-80% by weight of a diamine or a mixture of two or more diamines. Said curing agent has the ability of forming microemulsions when water is added, preferably non-ionic oil-in-water microemulsions. Said microemulsions have a good shelf life. They are useful as curing agent for any desired aqueous epoxy resin dispersions, and they can also be used as curing agent in compositions based on epoxy resin and cement mortar.
