A roofing system includes a plurality of riser blocks disposed on a support surface. The riser blocks include a group that is aligned in a row. A batten extends along the row and is supported by the group of riser blocks. The batten includes a first clip portion. A group of roofing panels is disposed along the row and is supported by the batten. Further, each of the roofing panels of the group includes a front surface, a rear surface, and a second clip portion extending from the rear surface. The second clip portion is configured to engage the first clip portion of the batten so as to secure the roofing panels to the batten.

Roofing system and method of installation

The present disclosure relates generally to acoustic panels, for example, suitable for use in a ceiling to control sound. The present disclosure relates more particularly to an acoustic ceiling panel including an acoustic substrate formed of a porous material having an air flow resistivity of at least 300 kPa*s/m. The acoustic substrate includes an upper face and a lower face with a pattern of perforations formed therein, where the pattern of perforations covers at least 6% of the area of the lower face. The acoustic ceiling panel also includes a backing layer disposed over the upper face of the acoustic substrate and a veil disposed over the lower face.

Acoustic ceiling panel, method of manufacture and acoustic ceiling system

The disclosure relates to acoustic panels and methods for preparing them. The disclosure relates more particularly to panels having a porous facing and to methods for making such panels. One aspect of the disclosure is an acoustic panel comprising a base structure. The base structure has one or more edges, an outward major surface having a total area, and an inward major surface opposing the outward major surface. The base structure has a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of at least about 0.3. The panel includes a coating layer directly disposed on the outward major surface of the base structure, the coating layer being formed of an open-cell foam. The coating layer has an exterior major surface opposing the outward major surface of the base structure. The coating layer is substantially scattering for light in the wavelength range of 380 nm to 780 nm, and has an absorption coefficient of less than 0.5 for acoustic frequencies in the range of 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz.

The present disclosure relates generally to plaster wall panels, for example, suitable for covering interior wall frames. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a plaster wall panel including a first plaster layer, a second plaster layer, and a damping layer disposed between the first and second plaster layers. The first plaster layer has a first thickness and is composed of a first plaster material that has a first material property. The second plaster layer has a second thickness and is composed of a second plaster material that has a second material property. The first thickness is smaller than the second thickness, and the first and second material properties are different.

The device also includes a control system configured to cause the sound generator to generate the sound and use the sound detected by the one or more sound sensors to generate output that represents the density of the insulation. Another aspect of the disclosure is a method for using the device to determine the density of insulation.

The present disclosure relates generally to light fixtures and to lighting assembly attachment systems. The present disclosure provides a lighting fixture extending no more than 3 inches from the building surface. A light source is disposed in a housing thereof and is configured to emit light through the open side of the housing so as to direct the light in an upward direction. The disclosure also provides lighting assembly including a housing having a base and a cavity below the base, a light source disposed in the cavity of the housing, and one or more clips configured to attach to a flange of a ceiling support beam. Each clip includes an upper arm, a lower arm, and a retainer disposed on the lower arm configured to engage the base of the housing such that the housing is held up by the one or more clips.
