An energy usage computing system includes one or more processors that are configured to receive data corresponding to energy usage of a plurality of devices within a property from a plurality of sensors. The energy usage computing system is also configured to analyze the data to determine an amount of energy used for at least one device of the plurality of devices, project an estimated cost of operation for the at least one device based at least in part on the determined amount of energy used for the at least one device, compare the estimated cost of operation for the at least one device to a threshold, and perform a cost-saving action in response to determining that the estimated cost of operation for the at least one device is above the threshold.

Budgeting tool for smart devices

A user score of a test for assessing a risk of a user of having or developing a contagious illness may be obtained, for each user of a plurality of users entering in a group setting. A group score based on the user scores associated with the plurality of users in the group setting may be generated. The group score indicating a group risk of a presence or development of the contagious illness in the group setting may be communicated for display. Group scores associated with a plurality of group settings may be obtained and communicated for display. Method and system for accurately tracking and informing of health and safety for group settings

A multi-factor authentication technique can use multiple smart devices to determine whether a person is authenticated by minimizing the extent to which the person is expected to interact with his or her smart devices. In an example multi-factor authentication method comprises performing a first determination, that a first mobile device is located within a wireless range of a device, obtaining a unique identifier from the first mobile device, sending, to a server, the unique identifier, receiving, from the server, information that indicates a first authentication technique and a second authentication technique, performing a second determination that the person is authenticated by successfully performing the first authentication technique with the first mobile device and by successfully performing the second authentication technique with the second mobile device, and performing a final authentication operation in response to performing the second determination.

Multi-factor authentication

A method and system of providing users with dynamic content about a specific task during access of an application based on previous in-app activity by the app's community of users for the task. The system identifies experienced user activity that represents an efficient performance of the task. The activity is stored in a repository for use by a dynamic content generation module. When subsequent users appear to need assistance in performing the task, the system can present content that is based on the more experienced users' activity. As additional data is collected, this content can be updated.

System and method for dynamic context sensitive guidance

A user device may obtain access control data which is derived based on a test result or score of a test for assessing a risk of a user of having or developing a contagious illness. The access control data may be communicated from the user device to an access control system in response to a reading of the user device by the access control system. The access control system may permit or deny entry of the user into an area based on the access control data. In some aspects, the user device is an identity (ID) or access badge. In other aspects, the user device is a mobile user device having one or more illness risk factor assessment functions, where the test result or score is obtained based on resulting data from executing the one or more illness risk factor assessment functions.
