A system for the automated validation of a semi-anechoic chamber (SAC) is disclosed. The system includes a receive assembly and a transmit assembly, each configured to autonomously relocate within the SAC. The system also includes a local client communicatively coupled to the transmit assembly. The local client is configured to send a validation arrangement to the transmit assembly describing a validation location and a distance. The transmit assembly is configured to receive the validation arrangement, move the transmit assembly to the validation location and send an instruction to the receive assembly, the instruction describing the distance. The receive assembly is communicatively coupled to the transmit assembly and configured to receive the instruction and move the receive assembly such that a separation between the transmit and receive assemblies is restored to the distance. Each validation arrangement corresponds to a validation point. A plurality of validation points defines a test volume.

System and method for the automated validation of a semi-anechoic chamber

A deployable laboratory environment is disclosed, including a foundation having a movement corridor, and a first and second module that each have a longitudinal axis and a junction side, the junction sides each having at least one opening framed by an interface. The modules are rotatably coupled to the foundation through swivel joints, at least one of which is able to translate along the movement corridor. The modules are movable between travel, intermediate, and deployed configurations. The travel configuration includes the longitudinal axes and the movement corridor being substantially parallel, and the openings being covered. The intermediate configuration includes the longitudinal axes being substantially perpendicular to the movement corridor, the junction sides facing each other, and the openings uncovered. The deployed configuration includes the modules coupled to each other with the interfaces joined and the module interiors combined into compartments which are shielded sufficient to meet an EMC testing standard.

An automated snare assembly for remotely operating an animal snare includes a monitoring unit that is mountable to a tree. Additionally, the monitoring unit is in wireless communication with a personal electronic device. The monitoring unit includes a camera for providing imagery of a selected area proximate the tree. A snare unit is positionable in an area for snaring an animal and the snare unit is positionable in a ready condition to snare the animal. The snare unit is in wireless communication with the personal electronic device and the snare unit is actuatable into a releasing condition by the personal electronic device to release the animal that is snared.

Particular disclosed embodiments disclosed herein concern using a one or more various mass tags, which can be specifically deposited at targets through direct or indirect enzymatic-catalyzed transformation, to provide a method for identifying targets in tissue samples. The mass tags may be labeled with stable isotopes to produce mass tags having the same chemical structure but different masses. Mass codes produced by ionizing the mass tags are detected and/or quantified using mass spectrometry. The method can be used for multiplexed detection of multiple targets in a particular sample. In some embodiments, a map divided into sections representing sections of the tissue sample may be prepared, with the map sections including data corresponding to quantification data wherein the size of a mass peak is determined and correlated with the amount of a target for the corresponding tissue sample section.

A portable system for the validation of a semi-anechoic chamber includes an antenna including a radiative element having a measurement point. Also included is a transmit mast having a deployed configuration and a stowed configuration, the transmit mast including a base, a vertical support, and an antenna mount configured to hold the antenna in a vertical arrangement and a horizontal arrangement while the transmit mast is in the deployed configuration, with the vertical arrangement of the antenna including the radiative element being oriented to have a vertical polarity, and with the horizontal arrangement of the antenna including the radiative element being oriented to have a horizontal polarity. The portable system has a deployed configuration and a stowed configuration. The portable system may be sized such that when the transmit mast is in the stowed configuration, the portable system fits inside a carry-on luggage.

According to the various examples, a fully integrated system and method for failure analysis using RF-based thermometry enable the detection and location of defects and failures in complex semiconductor packaging architectures. The system provides synchronous amplified RF signals to generate unique thermal signatures at defect locations based on dielectric relaxation loss and heating.

In general, the presently disclosed technology relates to identification of cancer subtypes. More specifically, the technology relates to methods for determining molecular drivers of cancer and/or progression using a multivariate image data and statistical analysis of in-situ molecular markers and morphological characteristics in the same cells of a biological sample suspected of b cancer. This analysis takes place after a single acquisition that obtains the molecular and anatomic morphology data in parallel. The analysis compares specific morphological and molecular markers to known samples exhibiting particular genetic drivers of the cancer. This method provides statistical information that allows for an increased confidence in the identification of specific molecular drivers of the cancer.

Spectral imaging for measurement of nuclear pathology features in cancer cells prepared for in situ analysis

Multiple modality contrast can be used to produce images that can be combined and rendered to produce images similar to those produced with wavelength absorbing stains viewed under transmitted white light illumination. Images obtained with other complementary contrast modalities can be presented using engineered color schemes based on classical contrast methods used to reveal the same anatomical structures and histochemistry, thereby providing relevance to medical training and experience. Dark-field contrast images derived from refractive index and fluorescent DAPI counterstain images are combined to produce images similar to those obtained with conventional H&E staining for pathology interpretation. Such multi-modal image data can be streamed for live navigation of histological samples, and can be combined with molecular localizations of genetic DNA probes (FISH), sites of mRNA expression (mRNA-ISH), and immunohistochemical (IHC) probes localized on the same tissue sections, used to evaluate and map tissue sections prepared for imaging mass spectrometry.

Multi-modality contrast and brightfield context rendering for enhanced pathology determination and multi-analyte detection in tissue

The present disclosure provides methods of diagnosing cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer by detecting Na, K-ATPase expression. For example, it is demonstrated herein that expression of the Na, K-ATPase &#x3b2;1-subunit increases in cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer, relative to normal cervical tissue. Also provided are methods of treating cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer by decreasing the biological activity of the Na, K-ATPase. For example, therapeutically effective amounts of one or more Na, K-ATPase inhibitors can be applied to the cervix to treat cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer.
