A suppressed pistol has a breech block and a slide mounted on a frame. The breech block and slide are separate pieces, movable relatively to one another and the frame. A link extends between the breech block and the frame. The link carries a cam and a cam follower. The cam follower on the link engages a cam on the frame, the cam on the link engages a cam follower on the slide. Action between the cams, cam followers and the link causes separation between the breech block and the slide during operation of the pistol. The suppressor includes a container having baffle plates with truncated cones defining openings offset from the geometric centers of the baffle plates.

A firearm is provided according to the present invention. The firearm can be a striker style firearm having a slide. A trigger contacts a sear block at the front of the striker to fire the firearm. The striker then moves rearward with the slide under operation of the recoil spring and then returns forward. A reset plunger engages the striker during the second part of this process to reset the striker. The trigger has a release lever which is allowed to rotate relative to the rest of the trigger when the striker is reset and the sear block moves the release lever to the rotated position. The release lever rotates back to the ready position as the trigger is released. A slide stop is also provided that is held in place under operation of the recoil spring.

Striker style firearm with improved mechanical function

A fishing lure comprises an elongated body with a modified cylindrical shape having a first end, a second end, a bottom portion and a top portion. The fishing lure also includes an eye for attaching a fishing line thereto positioned in a central region of the first end of the elongated body, and a plurality of hooks attached to the bottom portion of the elongated body, the second end of the elongated body or any combination thereof. The fishing lure is adapted to rotate 90 degrees from an original position and descend from a surface of a body of water as a force from the fishing line is applied, and return to the original position and float to the surface of the body of water when the force is discontinued.
