An electrical connector including a plurality of conductors, at least one male terminal electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of conductors, and at least one female terminal electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of conductors. At least one male terminal includes a cross-section defining at least one line contact. At least one female terminal is for electrical connection to at least one male terminal. At least one female terminal includes both a longitudinal split and an approximately circular cross-section.

A flourescent lamp assembly including a reflector having a cutout, a flourescent lamp and a lampholder. The lampholder includes a base end positioned within the cutout, a socket receiving the flourescent lamp and a first plug-in connector of a first gender for receiving electrical power. The first plug-in connector is positioned at the base end and generally opposite from the socket. The first plug-in connector includes a line conductor and a neutral conductor.

The invention comprises, in one form thereof, an electrical connector for connecting a first conductor and a second conductor, the first conductor and the second conductor both having an insulation coating and the second conductor having a stripped end, including a housing and an electrical terminal disposed with the housing. The electrical terminal includes at least one insulation displacement contact for electrical connection with the first conductor, and including at least one releasable pressure contact for connection and disconnection with the stripped end of the second conductor.

An electrical distribution system includes a track having a longitudinal extension and a facia. The facia has an elongate slot extending generally parallel with the longitudinal extension. The slot includes a plurality of elongate side channels extending transversely from and generally parallel to the longitudinal extension. The track includes a plurality of electrical conductors, with each electrical conductor being positioned within a corresponding side channel. The plurality of electrical conductors include at least one data conductor. A modular electrical component includes a male connector extending therefrom which is disposed within the slot. The male connector includes a plurality of electrical terminals extending therefrom, with each electrical terminal disposed within a corresponding channel and electrically coupled with a corresponding conductor. The male connector is rotatable within the slot and includes a rotation restriction only allowing rotation of the male connector within the slot in one direction.

A compressor plug cap assembly includes a compressor plug and a fence member. The compressor plug has a first plug side face and an opposing second plug side face, the first plug side face configured for operative association with a compressor. The fence member substantially surrounds and is operatively connected to the compressor plug. The fence member is mounted relative to the compressor plug so as to substantially coextend with the first plug side face and to extend beyond the second plug side face. The fence member has a top fence side and a bottom fence side, each of the top fence side and the bottom fence side being substantially open.

A connector assembly includes a rail having a plurality of apertures therethrough, and two electrical connectors including a first electrical connector and a second electrical connector, the first electrical connector detachably mateable to the second electrical connector, the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector removably connected to the rail, at least one of the two electrical connectors being routed through at least one of the plurality of apertures.

A distribution wiring harness assembly is electrically connected to at least one first contact of an electrical receptacle. The distribution wiring harness assembly includes a wire having an uninsulated segment and at least one insulated segment. A connector terminal includes at least one second contact mating with the at least one first contact of the electrical receptacle. At least two resilient prongs are connected to the at least one second contact. The at least two resilient prongs clamp the uninsulated segment of the wire therebetween.

This invention is directed to an electrical distribution terminal block and modularly couplable electrical receptacles wherein the terminal block is formed by a plurality of stackable wafers. Each wafer has upper channels formed therein that radiate from a common upper interior intersection point to an outer surface thereof, and lower channels formed therein that radiate from a common lower interior intersection point to an outer surface thereof. When the wafers are vertically stacked, the upper channels of one wafer complementally form ducts with the lower channels of another wafer, each duct having an outlet or port in communication with the exterior of the terminal block. An electrical terminal, formed in a configuration adapted to be received in the upper or lower channels, is disposed in each formed duct and includes connectors for coupling to incoming and outgoing wires of a polarity including neutral, and for coupling that polarity or neutral to a terminal of the receptacle. Each electrical receptacle includes projections that house outlet terminals, the projections received in the appropriate ports of the ducts.
