A method for communicating an estimate of the location of at least one radio terminal to a connected object. The method is implemented by a mobile terminal and includes: receiving, at a given time, via at least one received radio signal, at least one identifier of a radio terminal; obtaining at least one estimate of the location of an identified radio terminal; associating, with each identifier, the location of the corresponding radio terminal and the time of reception of the corresponding radio signal; and broadcasting the aforementioned association via at least one radio signal to at least one connected object.

A method, implemented by a first device, for establishing a radiofrequency communication with at least a second device is disclosed. The method includes a) transmission of a first message at a first transmission power, b) reception of at least one second message coming from at least the second device, the second message including data relating to a second transmission power of the second device, c) transmission of a third message at a third transmission power towards the second device, the third transmission power being determined on the basis of the second transmission power.

The connected object possesses a wireless receiver for receiving signals coming from a plurality of located terminals. The signals include location data for locating the located terminals. The connected object calculates a piece of geolocation information of its own position based on a plurality of location data coming from the various located terminals.

A method for transmitting a data stream containing a second ordered sequence of numerical values, which sequence is determined from a first ordered sequence, a second succession of consecutive numerical values of the second sequence being obtained from a corresponding succession of consecutive numerical values of the first sequence. The method estimates a load value representative of a current load on the network, to determine, depending on the estimated value, a second succession to be transmitted in a predefined time interval following the current time, the second succession being a corresponding first succession of the first sequence or a succession modified by applying a selection law to the bits of the first succession and to transmit the second succession and, in case of transmission of a modified succession, a processing indicator signaling a succession modification.

Transmission and reception of a data stream

A signal generation method for generating a signal that is to be transmitted in a network of connected objects. The method includes: an obtaining step for obtaining a first signal conveying a stream of data acquired by a connected object of the network; a reception step for receiving a synchronization second signal including information providing a timestamp for the first signal; and a generation step for generating a third signal by using a reversible operation to combine the first signal and the synchronization second signal.
