Provided is a process for the degradation of at least one polymer of an alkene carbonate, a polymeric composition for a lithium-ion battery electrode having a degradation residue obtained by this process, a process for the preparation thereof, an electrode and a battery incorporating it and a degradation process for the sintering of ceramics. The degradation process includes a reaction at 120° C. and 270° C., and under air of a primary amine with a poly(alkene carbonate) polyol, which depolymerizes it in order to obtain a non-polymeric degradation residue. This composition includes an active material, an electrically conductive filler, a polymeric binder and a residue from the degradation under air between 120° C. and 270° C. of a sacrificial phase which includes the polymer and which has been melt blended beforehand with the active material, with the filler and with the binder in order to obtain a precursor mixture of the composition.

The invention relates to a material including a support consisting of a porous composite material including at least one polymer phase forming a binder based on at least one polymer selected from thermoplastic polymers, elastomers, and elastomer thermoplastics, and at least one filler selected from thermally conductive fillers, the pores of the support consisting of the porous composite material being partially or entirely filled with at least one phase-change material. The invention also relates to a method for producing said material.

Polymer composition for an electrode, method, and a lithium-ion battery including same are provided. This composition includes an active material having a graphite usable in the anode, an electrically conductive filler and a cross-linked elastomer binder that includes a hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer (HNBR). The binder includes a non-hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer (NBR) and/or a HNBR with an acrylonitrile content that is at least 40% by weight and cross-linked by thermal oxidation. This method includes: a) mixing the active material, the binder in a non-cross-linked state and the electrically conductive filler, to obtain a precursor mixture of the composition, b) depositing the mixture on a metal current collector so that the mixture forms a non-cross-linked film, then c) thermal oxidation of the non-cross-linked film under an atmosphere containing oxygen at a temperature of between 200 and 300&#xb0; C., to obtain the electrode in which the binder is cross-linked.

Provided is a gelled carbon-based composition forming an organic polymeric monolithic gel capable of forming a porous carbon monolith by pyrolysis, a use thereof and a process for preparing this composition. A composition according to the invention is based on a resin derived at least partly from polyhydroxybenzene(s) R and formaldehyde(s) F, has a thermal conductivity of less than or equal to 40 mW&#xb7;m&#xb7;K, and includes at least one water-soluble cationic polyelectrolyte P. Electrode for storing electrical energy including a metal current collector and an active material, the current collector being coated on at least one portion of one of its faces with at least one protective layer placed between the current collector and the active material, the protective layer including: (A) a polymer matrix including: (A1) at least one cross-linked epoxy polymer or copolymer, (A2) at least one elastomer, and (B) conductive fillers.
