A heat treatable solar control glazing showing low-emissivity properties, and possibly also anti-solar properties, and methods to manufacture such a glazing. The glazing comprises a transparent substrate coated with a stack of thin layers comprising n functional layer(s) reflecting infrared radiation and n+1 dielectric layers, with n&#x2265;1, each functional layer being surrounded by dielectric layers. At least one dielectric layer above a functional layer comprises a layer consisting essentially of silicon oxide deposited by PECVD, and the stack comprises a barrier layer based on zinc oxide above and in direct contact with any functional layer which has a silicon oxide layer in the dielectric layer directly above it.

Solar control glazing

The invention relates to heat treatable solar control glazing showing low-emissivity properties, and possibly also anti-solar properties and methods to manufacture such glazing. They comprise a transparent substrate coated with a stack of thin layers comprising n functional layer(s) reflecting infrared radiation and n+1 dielectric layers, with n&#x2265;1, each functional layer being surrounded by dielectric layers. At least one dielectric layer above a functional layer comprises a layer consisting essentially of silicon oxide, preferably deposited by PECVD, and the stack comprises a barrier layer based on zinc oxide above and in direct contact with any functional layer which has a silicon oxide layer in the dielectric layer directly above it.

Translucent conductive substrate for organic light emitting devices

A sheet of vitreous material bearing a multilayer solar control lamination that includes at least one functional layer based on a material that reflects infrared radiation surrounded by dielectric coatings and at least one 4 nm thick absorbent layer formed by at least one oxide or oxynitride of a cobalt- and/or copper-based alloy. The sheet of vitreous material may be applied to solar control glazing units having multiple glazings.

A multilayer sunshield lamination structure foamed on a sheet of vitreous material which includes at least one functional layer composed of a silver-based material that reflects infrared radiation and at least two dielectric coatings, each function layer being surrounded by dielectric coatings.
