An assembly for a rotary press is provided including a hub which is suitable for being rotatably mounted about a center axis in a rotary press, a format adaptation sleeve and means for fixing the adaptation sleeve to the hub. The hub and the adaptation sleeve each include a stop surface. The stop surfaces have a frustoconical shape about the center axis, and the fixing means comprise a radial stop element which is suitable for being interposed between the hub and the adaptation sleeve.

This device for braking a flat product, in particular a signature, has a support, a brake shoe for braking the flat product, the brake shoe being movable between a position allowing the passage of the flat product and a position effecting braking of the flat product, and a drive for driving the brake shoe from the passing position towards the braking position. The drive includes an eccentric element which is movable in rotation and co-operates with the brake shoe.

The holding device has two catching elements between which the transport belt runs, for holding the transport belt firmly therebetween. Also included is a device for measuring tension of the transport belt, the tension measuring device being constructed for triggering the holding device when the tension of the transport belt falls below a prescribed value. A paddle wheel delivery for flat copies, which are delivered onto a belt surface of a delivery belt, the paddle wheel delivery including at least one paddle wheel formed of two paddle wheel disks mutually adjustable relative to one another. The delivery includes sickle-shaped regions inwardly movable by a relative movement of the paddle wheel disks, for converting a first pocket width of the paddle wheel pockets on the paddle wheels into a second pocket width of the paddle wheel pockets. The present invention relates to a device for the delivery of products out of fans for forming a shingled product stream. The invention uses at least one endless chain lead around a drive shaft of a fan arrangement. The chain links of the chain are equally spaced from one another. The fan arrangement uses multiple fans disposed on a drive shaft in spaced relation. The invention has at least one endless chain, having chain links with a projection, and which chain is arranged between the fans. The projections of the chain links touch and guide the front edges of printed products in the pockets and, during common movement of the fans and chain, change the position of the products in the pockets of the fans.
