A lid with a holding knob and coupling elements designed to secure the holding knob to the lid. The coupling elements comprise at least one lug and a notch having an entry portion for the lug to pass through the notch, as well as a retaining portion for retaining the lug in the slot. The lug is mobile between the entry portion and the retaining portion, when the knob and lid are moved relative to one another.

A device for fixing a handle to a cooking vessel comprises a member fixed to the wall of the vessel and including an outwardly projecting central part surrounded by an exterior part whose surface adjacent the wall of the vessel espouses its curved profile. The lateral surface of the projecting central part has a shape matching the interior surface of the ferrule and is engaged in the latter. The front surface of the projecting part incorporates an opening extending outwards by a projecting flange. The interior surface of the opening is smooth. The screw for fixing the handle has a tapping thread that cuts a thread for itself in this opening.

A cooking vessel has a handle or handles for holding it and a lid having a peripheral lip resting in a substantially sealed manner on an upper rim of the vessel. An inside surface of the lid includes at least one cavity formed between the peripheral lip and an abutment projecting towards the interior of the vessel. The lid moves under gravity on the upper rim of the vessel, upon tilting of the vessel, towards a position in which the cavity is at least in part outside the upper rim of the vessel. A passage is formed between the upper rim of the vessel and the cavity. The abutment bears against the upper rim of the vessel to limit outward displacement of the lid.
