A method for working a plot of land simultaneously by agricultural robots in accordance with instructions and/or commands transmitted by a common central management and control system, the method including: subdividing the plot of land to be worked into distinct work zones as strips having respective ends at the two opposite extremities thereof, and into a turn zone extending along the various opposite ends of the trips; subdividing each turn zone into turn portions, each of which faces and continues from one of the two ends of one of the strips forming work zones; and assigning a fraction of a turn portion to the robot that either is about to pass or is in the process of passing through the designated turn portion, or is going to start, is in the process of completing or going to complete work in the work zone associated with the designated turn portion.

Method for working a plot of land by at least two agricultural robots

A method for the vertical calibration of an agricultural machine wear tool is provided. The method includes: placing the wear tool in contact with a reference area; measuring the value of a position variable linked to the positioning of the wear tool when it is in contact with the reference area; determining the theoretical vertical positioning component of the wear tool according to the value measured, based on a reference curve; and determining a matching curve between a vertical positioning component of the wear tool and the position variable, by shifting the reference curve by a value equal to the theoretical vertical component.

An agricultural hitch with a system for management and guidance of maneuvers and a method employed by the hitch is provided. The hitch includes a tractor, an agricultural machine hitched by an articulated linkage, and a system for management and guidance of maneuvers, provided with a computing and control unit. The computing and control unit or of the hitched agricultural machine constitutes the master unit of the system for management and guidance of maneuvers, and is adapted to compute a set path for a maneuver to come, by employing an algorithm for prediction of paths and an algorithm for optimization of path settings, and to automatically execute the maneuver or of assisting in semiautomatic execution of the maneuver by steering the tractor and by recording, during maneuvering, the differences between the predefined set path and the real or currently estimated path.

Agricultural hitch with a system for management and guidance of operations and a method thereof

An agricultural machine having a trailed chassis and a transverse bar in several portions extending substantially transversely to the direction of advance in the work position and extending substantially parallel to the direction of advance in the transport position, the transverse bar includes two portions able to be folded around a first respective articulation with a substantially vertical axis, each portion supports a seeder device made up of a hopper and a seeder bar. Each seeder bar is fixed on the corresponding portion using a second articulation with a substantially horizontal axis oriented parallel to the direction of advance in the work position.
