A method and device for closing a container provided with a neck including a pourer and a cap and an element carried by the pourer and a sealing membrane carried by the pourer so as to interposed between the element and the neck. The element is secured to the membrane by sealing after the device is applied to the neck and the element forced to urge the membrane against the neck.

A closure divice for a container including a pourer designed to be fixed on a neck of the container wherein the closure device includes a cover assembly adapted to be mounted on the neck and over the pourer. The cover assembly includes a cap movable between a first position wherein it closes the neck and the pourer from the outside and a second position where it allows access to the neck and to the pourer. The pourer is arranged at least partly inside the neck. The cap is provided with a skirt extending, in the first position of the cap, inside the neck. The skirt has at least one flange capable, when the cap is in the first position, of exerting a force urging the pourer against an edge of the neck.

The invention concerns a device comprising a pourer, adapted to be mounted on the container neck, and an assembly forming a cover adapted to be mounted on said neck and comprising a cap mobile between a first position where it isolates the neck and the pourer from outside and a second position providing access to the neck and the pourer. A snap-on or screw type, tamper evident closure having first and second relatively moveable plastic parts ( ) which move from an initial position to a new limiting position when the closure is first opened, the new limiting position being visually distinguishable from the initial position to provide the tamper evidence. The two plastics parts are formed in mutually intimate association but have inter-engaging complimentary formations ( ) which become irreversibly disengaged on first opening of the closure.

A pouring cap for mounting atop a neck of a container is unitarily formed of a synthetic resin with a body adapted to fit over the neck of the container and having an outer body edge centered on an axis, a central pour tube within the edge and forming an axially throughgoing outflow passage, and a cover sealingly engageable in a closed position with the body over the passage at the edge. A hinge is provided on the edge between the body and the cover and a hook projects axially from the cover in the closed position past the edge of the body at a location on the edge generally diametrically opposite the hinge. A retaining element defines with the body an opening adjacent the edge opposite the hinge location. The hook is engageable with elastic deformation through the opening to catch underneath the retaining element and once inserted through the opening is engaged such that the hook or the element must be permanently deformed to move the cover from the closed position. Thus the hook and element retain the cover in the closed position until the element is stripped from the body. Frangible connecting webs flanking the opening connect the retaining element to the body.

A cap comprising a cylindrical skirt extending from a frustoconical part, the connecting area between the cylindrical skirt and the frustoconical part being located essentially at the level of a shoulder provided in a body composed of a stopper body or in the container to be equipped itself. This connecting zone has at least one tongue delimited by two vertical slots and one horizontal slot, the horizontal edge of the tongue delimited by the slot being provided on the inside of the cap with an extension forming a first tooth which is located, when the cap is in the closed position, adjacent to a second tooth or projection associated with body when the cap is located in the unscrewing direction.

A stoppering device non-removably attached to the flanged neck of a container has a base (8) projecting beyond the neck of the container, with at least two arcuate surface sections extending from the base and disposed along a circle having a diameter slightly greater than that of the outer surface of the flanged neck (5). Each arcuate surface section (16) is extended on at least one of its sides in the circumferential direction by a locking foot (17). Each foot is integral with the arcuate surface at the end of the section opposite to the base (8) and is inclined inward from the end integral with the arcuate surface section (16) to a free end of the foot located toward the base (8). Each foot abuts the flanged neck (5) and holds the stoppering device securely onto the container.

A closure for a recipient having an upwardly open annular neck centered on an axis and formed with an external attachment formation and an axially downwardly projecting shoulder has a unitary one-piece cap formed of a relatively soft synthetic resin and a unitary one-piece tamper-resistant ring formed of a relatively hard synthetic resin. The cap itself is formed with an end sealingly fittable over the neck and an annular skirt projecting axially from the end and formed internally with an attachment formation complementary to that of the neck. The skirt has remote from the end a rim and is formed between the rim and the end with a radially inwardly open groove. The tamper-resistant ring is formed with an annular upper part having an outwardly projecting ridge normally seated in the groove of the skirt, an annular lower part having an inwardly projecting lip fitting axially under the shoulder of the neck, and a relatively fragile web axially joining the unitarily formed with both parts.

A metering pouring stopper comprising two elements of a moldable or injectable material which is at least somewhat flexible. One of these elements comprises a pouring lip which can be fastened to the free end to the threaded neck of the container, while the other element comprises a metering chamber and a threaded skirt to be screwed onto the threaded neck of the container. Since the threads of the necks of containers always have a predetermined, constant angular orientation, the two elements of the stop that can fit into one another have assembly detachable means which make it possible to assemble them temporarily before they are placed onto the container. Means are provided whereby the elements can be set and positioned angularly relative to one another by relative simple rotation of a fraction of a turn, this angular positioning being determined as a function of the predetermined and constant angular orientations of the threads of the neck of the container and of the closing element of the stopper so that, when the stopper is completely screwed onto the neck of the container, the pouring lip of the element bearing the pouring lip has the desired angular orientation diametrically opposite to that of the handle of the container.

This invention relates to a dispensing stopper with rotating cap for pasty products, wherein axial displacement of the rotating cap is effected by cooperation of two series of oblique projections in contact and by cooperation of stops and oblique ramps. The base of the cap is further provided with a tearable guarantee strip.

A cap for covering a container, the opening of which is initially blocked by a sealed lid. The bottom of the cap is provided with a deformable part provided with a perforation means. A deformable part initially occupies a position in which the perforation means is maintained at a distance from the lid. At the moment of first use of the contianer, the deformable part is lowered to a position in which the perforation means penetrates the plane of the lid. The configuration can be used with screw-on caps, particularly with caps having tamperproof bands, or with hinged caps.

The bottom wall of the pan bottom is connected to its lateral cylindrical wall by a part in the shape of a crown of bitruncated section delimiting, at the periphery of the bottom wall, an annular groove of approximately annular section projecting, in relation to the bottom wall, from the same side as the free end of the outside skirt.
