The invention relates to a variable speed drive comprising a direct-current power bus having a positive line () and a negative line (), and an inverter module () supplied by the direct-current bus in order to supply a variable voltage to an electric load (M). The drive comprises an energy-recovery device () comprising a first direct-current/direct-current converter (), the output stage of the first converter () being connected in series to the positive line of the direct-current bus, a second direct-current/direct-current converter (), the input stage of the second converter () being connected between the positive line and the negative line of the direct-current bus, and an electric energy storage module (Cs) connected in parallel with the input stage of the first converter () and with the output stage of the second converter ().

Energy-recovery device in a variable speed drive

A variable-frequency drive that includes a DC power supply bus with a positive line and a negative line, and an inverter module powered by the DC bus for supplying a variable voltage to an electric load. The inverter includes a first DC/DC converter including output terminals connected in series on the positive line of the DC bus, a second DC/DC converter including input terminals connected between the positive line and the negative line of the DC bus, a filtering capacitor connected in parallel to the input terminals of the first converter and to the first output terminals of the second converter, and an electric power storage module connected in parallel to the second output terminals of the second converter.

The control device of an electric power converter comprises a control device controlling turn-on of semi-conductor legs. The converter comprises DC voltage supply lines, an inverter connected between said lines and outputs. The control device comprises a processing unit to supply modulation signals of control signals of said inverter legs. The control device comprises a module for determining a general control component. The module for determining detects a detection signal representative of a highest current signal in absolute value. The detection signal is used to select a modulation signal on which an over-modulation is applied via the general control component. In the method, the detection signal is used to determine a general control component.

Device and method for controlling an electric power converter

The control device of an electric power converter comprises a control device controlling turn-on of semi-conductor legs. The converter comprises DC voltage power supply lines on three levels with two filtering capacitors. The control device supplies modulation signals of control signals of said legs. The control device comprises a regulating circuit to regulate the voltage variation of intermediate voltage via a general control component. The general control component is determined according to modulation signals, to signals representative of DC voltage and to signals representative of currents to take part in regulation of the intermediate voltage. The method processes voltage variation regulation via the general control component.
