For recyclability in a high value circular recycling material stream, a fluid-tight collapsible polyolefin container comprises a container body () formed of a container laminate () that is folded to a container-like body, sealed in the overlapping edge regions () and coated with a sheathing () of polyolefin material to form the container body (), said container body () being provided at one open end with a container head formed from polyolefin material. The container laminate () is a laminate having at least three layers, an inner polyolefin layer () and an outer polyolefin layer () and a barrier layer () sandwiched between the outer polyolefin layer () and the inner polyolefin layer (), wherein the barrier layer () comprises at least one polyolefin comprising barrier foil like a monolayer foil () or a coextruded foil (with layers) or a laminate thereof and wherein at least 90% of all polymers of the container are made of polyolefin of the same kind.

Recyclable, collapsible tube with barrier properties

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a container body () of a tube, the methods comprising the steps of imprinting a sheet material () on one of its surfaces, bending the imprinted sheet material into the shape of the container body () of the tube with the imprinted surface on the outside, sealing adjacent edges () of the bent imprinted sheet material, and coating the bent imprinted sheet material with a transparent plastics sheathing () by extrusion, wherein the material of the plastics sheathing () and/or the ink used for imprinting are chosen such that the plastics sheathing () does not adhere to the imprint (), resulting in one or more ventilation areas () being formed between the imprinted sheet material and the plastics sheathing (). The invention furthermore relates to a container body manufactured by such a method.

A preferably air-tight and liquid-tight collapsible container comprises a container body () formed of a sheet material, said sheet material having two thermoplastic surfaces (), said sheet material comprising a preferably fluid-tight carrier foil () provided at least on and preferably on both sides (), with a thermoplastic semi-rigid or rigid layer material, preferably a polyester based material said sheet material being folded to a container-like body and sealed in the overlapping edge regions () to form a container-like body, said container-like body being coated with a sheathing () of elastomeric thermoplastic material of the same kind or type as the foil material to form a container body (), said container body () being provided at one open end () with a container head formed from thermoplastic material of the same kind or type as the foil material.

Polyfoil tube made from semi-rigid or rigid foil materials

The invention relates to a tip cap assembly for closing a distal opening of a receptacle like a syringe body or a tube in a sealed manner, and to a method for producing the tip cap. A cap assembly according to the invention comprises a frangible tip of a receptacle, preferably a pre-filled receptacle. An upper portion of the tip closes the receptacle respectively a lower tip portion comprising a passage as known from the state of the art. Hence, the receptacle is reliably sealed to prevent contamination or loss of the medication. Compared with the state of the art, a receptacle has a more effectively sealed tip. It is necessary to break the upper tip portion away in order to open the receptacle. A cap element protects the tip on one side. On the other side, unscrewing the cap breaks the upper portion away without hurting a person.
