The invention concerns a probabilistic method and automatic control () for preventing and regulating an interruption of a multistage and multilink industrial production glow, to optimise said production flow while controlling industrial impact resulting from random chained stress, and applications to factory noise and value at risk of a clearing house. The invention consists in regulating production by means of a probabilistic automatic control () with action loop () and feedback loop (). Industrially speaking, said regulating automatic control () can be electronically produced by means of a programmed and cabled computer. The action loop () of the automatism () consists of an inductive probabilistic simulator () evaluating the chaining of random stresses in the production chain leading to a probabilistic measurement of the industrial impact I(r) resulting, on the basis of the adjustable level of an industrial stock parameter (r). The method used in the action loop () of the automatic control (), is of the type called 'Value at Risk' or 'VaR'. The feedback loop () of the automatic control () adjusts in course of time (t) the industrial action parameter (r) to an extremal value, maintaining said estimator of VaR effect (p,T(r)) below its authorised nuisance level M. This is aimed at making the industrial production level F(r) extremal but nevertheless at a level compatible with the respect of regulatory or stock out conditions. The method and device of the invention can be advantageously used in numerous industries whether manufacturing, financial, agricultural where risks of pollution and other risks resulting from random chained stress need to be controlled.

A method of simulating a local system which is in interaction with other local systems within a global environment. The method includes generating, at a central location, a collection of global sets of values, each representing a possible future global state of the global environment at a future time, and the collection representing a variety of possible future global states. The method also includes transmitting the collection of global sets of values to the local systems. The local systems receive some of the collection, select a local set of parameters, and perform calculations on that data. The collection of values is used as a predictive simulation of the local system.

Packaging means such as a bottle, jar or other receptacle, having a sealing ring, as well as a process for manufacturing such a seal. These packaging means include containers especially of the type to be kept in stock and/or stored. The packaging means include at least a container and a lid, between which is arranged a sealing ring defining an internal space in relation to the outside of the packaging means, with the packaging means being capable of containing a product or any other substance whatsoever under conditions of vacuum or partial vacuum. A device for fitting and locking a handle to the body of a kitchen utensil comprises an end piece formed on the lateral wall of the body of the utensil, and a housing provided in the connecting end of the handle and into which the end piece can be inserted with a loose fit. The locking of the handle to the end piece is effected by a pivoting piece and an associated actuating structure, both mounted in the housing, for causing the pivoting piece to pivot. The upper face of the end piece has a notch, the pivoting piece has an end curved in the shape of a nose for insertion into the notch of the end piece, and the actuating structure for the pivoting piece is adapted selectively to bring the curved end of the latter into or out of the notch so as to lock or unlock the pivoting piece in this position during fitting or removal of the handle. The locking force may be applied via a toggle joint, and an unlocking push button may further be provided to form a safety clamping mechanism.
