A facility () for sterilizing objects by electron bombardment includes a first conveyor and a second conveyor which are used for transporting objects and placed on either side of a treatment chamber. The facility is provided with an input rotatable conveyor designed for moving said objects and located between the first conveyor and the chamber, and an output rotatable conveyor also designed for displacing objects and located between said chamber and the second conveyor.

Arrangement for sterilising objects by electron bombardment

An electron gun includes a sealed chamber under vacuum. A cathode having an emitting face is placed inside the chamber. An anode forms a sealed window, formed facing the emitting face in one of the walls of the chamber. The anode is capable of allowing electrons emitted by the emitting face to pass through. A biasing apparatus sets up a voltage between the anode and the cathode, capable of accelerating these electrons towards the anode, the electrons thus accelerated forming a beam that passes through the anode. The anode and the emitting face each have a curvature, the curvature of the anode making it capable of resisting a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the chamber and being designed to cooperate with the curvature of the emitting face to focus the electron beam outside the chamber.

The invention relates to an installation () for sterilising objects () by low-energy electron bombardment, including sterilisation means () capable of generating an electron beam along an axis (A) passing through a treatment chamber (). According to the invention, the installation includes a mechanical module () designed so as to be capable of generating a relative rotation movement, between the object and the sterilisation means, about an axis (A') chosen so that axis (A) of the electron beam generated by the sterilisation means continuously passes through the external surface of the object during the relative rotation movement about the axis (A&#x2032;). In addition, it comprises mechanical module () enabling the object to be rotated about an axis (A&#x2033;) oriented orthogonally with respect to axis (A&#x2032;).

Installation and method for sterilising objects by low-energy electron bombardment

In order to transfer aseptic products between two enclosures ( ), use is made of a sterile container ( ) having a filling interface ( ) and an emptying interface ( ). Each interface ( ) comprises a seal ( ) behind which is placed a flexible hose ( ) equipped with a closure system ( &prime;). The filling and emptying of the container ( ) take place by connecting the corresponding interface ( ) and enclosure ( ), sterilizing the volume trapped between the seal ( ) and the door ( ) of the enclosure ( ), opening said door and also the seal and putting into place the corresponding flexible hose ( ). After filling the container ( ), the closure system ( ) of the filling interface ( ) is closed again.

Process for the transfer of aseptic products between two enclosures and transportation container for performing this process

Sterile products contained in a container (,) are transferred into a sterile isolator (,) by connecting the container onto a lock (,) fitted on the outside of the isolator (,) and equipped with a pulsed light sterilization device (,). The connection between the lock (,) and the isolator (,) is made by a sealed double door transfer device. The throwaway container is equipped with a plug type closer (,), cutout from the inside of the isolator (,) after sterilizing the volume (,) inside the lock (,) and opening the double door (,).
