The size of the non-masking screen elements in the second direction is greater than the size, in the first direction, of at least one element of overlapping images, the revelation screen making it possible to observe various revealed images by moving the revelation screen in relation to the combined image and/or by changing the observation angle.

Secure item comprising a revealing screen and a combined image

The present disclosure relates to a security structure including a non-opaque, preferably transparent, substrate. The substrate supports metal elements forming a revealing pattern. The metal is thin enough for the metal to be non-opaque. A lacquer is placed at least partially, preferably exactly, on top of the metal elements. The lacquer may be in contact with the metal elements.

The second image may be produced by an electronic imager. The method further includes performing a relative movement between the first and second images so as to make it possible to observe an item of information relating to authentication and/or identification of the security article during the relative movement between the first and second images.

The method permits observation of an authentication and/or identification information item of the security article during a change of the angle of observation of the first and second superimposed images.
