An in-ear audio device includes a driver module disposed within an in-ear enclosure, and a mounting region of the in-ear enclosure including a device engagement mechanism comprising an engagement feature that is formed on a surface of the in-ear enclosure. The driver module is configured to deliver audible output provided from the driver module to an output end of the in-ear enclosure. At least a portion of the engagement feature is configured to engage with a mating engagement feature of an interchangeable faceplate to cause the interchangeable faceplate to be coupled to the engagement feature.

A custom-fit in-ear-monitor (IEM) is provided that utilizes a plurality of drivers and a single piece driver module that significantly simplifies fabrication while insuring that the completed IEM achieves the desired acoustic performance. The driver module, which is fit within a custom-fit ear mold shell, includes a plurality of driver ports to which the drivers are coupled. The driver module also includes an acoustic output member that includes one or more sound bores that acoustically couple the acoustic output surface of the custom-fit ear mold shell to the plurality of driver ports via a plurality of sound ducts within the driver module.

A method of fabricating a custom-fit in-ear-monitor (IEM) is provided that utilizes a pre-tuned, single piece driver module to simplify fabrication and reduce cost while insuring that the performance of the IEM consistently meets the acoustic goals set for the device. During fabrication the driver module, the drivers coupled to the module's driver ports, and the crossover circuit are installed in a custom-fit IEM shell such that the module's acoustic output is aligned with the output surface of the IEM shell. After installing the device components within the IEM shell, the shell is sealed.

The present invention is an apparatus and method of manufacture for providing image capturing modules which can be embedded into thin displays (e.g., in laptop computers) while providing for improved image quality. In accordance with several embodiments, a webcam module embedded in a display has multiple positions. A first position (or a 'rest' or 'park' position) is the position of the webcam module when it is not in use. In this first position of the webcam module, it is in its most compact configuration, and lends itself to integration into a very thin display. In other positions, the webcam module has a more expanded configuration, thus leading to better image quality. Such an expanded configuration leads, amongst other things, to a larger depth of focus. In one embodiment, a stepped PCB is used to provide good image quality while maintaining a compact form factor as well as structural rigidity.

One or more of those facial features are selected and modified, with the modification being applied to the video feed to produce a morphed image. For example, the morphing can produce fun effects such as oversized or too small eyes, lips, etc.
