A device for axial locking of a moving part in rotation with respect to a reference part, includes a downstream locking wedge provided with lugs laid out such that the downstream locking wedge can be placed in: a first angular position in which the downstream locking wedge may be translated axially with respect to the moving part, a second angular position in which the lugs axially immobilize the downstream locking wedge with respect to the moving part; an upstream locking wedge able to prevent the rotation of the downstream locking wedge with respect to the moving part; and a stop segment able to immobilize axially the upstream locking wedge against the downstream locking wedge.

Device for axial locking of a moving part with respect to a reference part

In a disengageable axial thrust bearing for a rotary machine, an outer ring has first and second outer half-rings (A,B) centered in a casing () and clamped in the axial direction between a stationary thrust member () and a first pre-loading system () exerting a first predetermined axial force such that, so long as the axial load exerted on the axial thrust bearing via a synchronization element () is greater than a determined threshold value, rolling elements () with oblique contacts present respective single lines () having two points of contact (A,B) with an inner ring () and with the first outer half-ring (A), the second outer half-ring (B) being spaced apart from the first by a second predetermined axial force exerted by a second pre-loading system () inserted in the axial direction between the first and second outer half-rings, and such that the inner ring () is driven in rotation by the synchronization element, whereas, when the axial load exerted on the axial thrust bearing becomes less than this determined threshold value, a second line () having two additional points of contact (A,B) is created between each of the oblique-contact rolling elements () and the inner ring () and the second outer half-ring (B) such that the axial thrust bearing is disengaged.

In a rotary machine bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, and rolling elements between them, one of the inner and outer rings includes first and second half-rings suitable for being clamped in the axial direction between a thrust member and a first pre-loading system exerting a first predetermined axial force, and a second pre-loading system is provided that is inserted in the axial direction between the first and second half-rings and that exerts a second predetermined axial force less than the first predetermined axial force.

Bearing with double pre-loading

The sealing of a turbine casing is reinforced by decoupling a fastening flange from a remainder of a housing. The casing includes a body that is externally reinforced by axial ribs that are connected to an annular rib and the fastening flange is attached to the annular rib by an annular wall portion that is thinner than the annular rib and than the flange.

In a disengageable axial abutment for a rotary machine fitted with fluid bearings, an outer ring () comprises first and second outer half-rings (A,B) centered in the casing () by a flexible suspension system, with the outer half-rings (A,B) being held in the axial direction between a static abutment member () and a pre-loading system () exerting a predetermined axial force such that, so long as the axial load exerted on the axial abutment via a synchronization cone () is greater than a given threshold, each rolling element () presents a single line () of two points of contact (A,B) with an inner ring () and with the first outer half-ring (A) respectively, and the inner ring () is driven in rotation by the synchronization cone (), whereas, when the axial load exerted on the axial bearing becomes smaller, a gap () is created between the outer half-rings (A,B) and a second line () of two additional points of contact (A,B) is created between each rolling element () and the inner ring () and the second outer half-ring (B) respectively, such that the axial abutment is disengaged.

A pump for the drawing-in of a fluid, including at least one centrifugal wheel having a fluid inlet edge and a fluid outlet edge, the pump further including an axial balancing system with a high-pressure flow space defined between the housing and an upstream face of the centrifugal wheel. The axial balancing system further includes a device for substantially increasing the hydrostatic pressure of the fluid circulating in the high-pressure flow space during operation of the pump.
