A closure element closes an opening in the container in a manner which is leaktight for the product, with the closure element being fixed on the container by snap-fastening or screwing. An application head can be fixed on the container, and includes; i) an orifice for dispensing the product, which can communicate with the interior of the container; ii) an opening component intended to break the closure element of the container when the head is being fastened onto the container, in order to establish communication between the dispensing orifice and the interior of the container, and iii) a deformable wall which can deform in response to an external pressure exerted on the head, so as to cause the product to be dispensed.

Assembly for the packaging and application of a fluid product

A pump for fixing onto a receptacle to dispense a substance contained therein. The pump has a pump body that includes at least one air intake vent. A pushbutton is movable relative to the pump body between a low position and a high position. A suction valve includes a shutter-forming member. A piston co-operates with the pump body to define a pump chamber of variable volume. Also, a dispenser duct is provided through which the pump chamber can communicate with a dispenser orifice. A sealing skirt surrounds the dispenser duct on at least a fraction of the height of the dispenser duct. The sealing skirt is configured to co-operate with the pump body when the pushbutton is in its low position so as to isolate the vent from an outside ambient environment. As examples of a few aspects, the dispenser duct is provided as an element attached to the pushbutton and the piston is movable relative to the dispenser duct.

Dispensing device intended to equip a container, particularly a container containing a cosmetic product, comprises a base part and an assembly which can move with respect to the base part and defines therewith a variable volume pumping chamber. The assembly comprises a piston mobile between two extreme positions and a control member, secured to the piston, passing through the stationary base part and equipped with at least one outlet passage allowing the product to be dispensed. The piston comprises at least one intake passage allowing the pumping chamber to be filled. The control member is mobile with respect to the piston between a dispensing position and a filling position. The piston comprises a shut off for shutting off the outlet passage when the control member is in its filling position and/or the control member comprises a shut off for shutting off the intake passage, when the control member is in its dispensing position.

A dispensing head is provided for actuating a valve or a pump and for dispensing a product through at least one dispensing orifice. The dispensing head comprises a body and an end element. The body may be configured for coupling to an operating stem of the valve or of the pump. The end element includes a dispensing orifice and is movable with respect to the body. When the dispensing head is mounted on the pump stem or valve stem, the dispensing orifice is in communication with the stem via at least one passage. The end element is capable of being positioned to allow the cleaning of all or part of a dispensing duct. The end element is capable of being translated and pivoted relative to the body. The pump may also include an outlet slit on the second wall, the outlet slit being configured to open one way in response to an increased pressure in the chamber. The vessel may be configured to deform from a first position occupying a first volume to a second position occupying a second volume in response to a pressure applied to the vessel. The delivery valve-forming element is made by means of a shutter-forming element that is separate from the diaphragm.

A dosing nozzle is intended to be fitted onto a container containing a product. The nozzle comprises a dosing cavity which can move between a first position and a second position in which it occupies a minimum volume, the cavity being delimited by first and second pistons capable of sliding inside a fixed body. The first piston is fixed to a closure member capable, selectively, of closing off/exposing at least one outlet of the dosing cavity. During a first phase of the movement of the dosing cavity, the first piston is driven by through the effect of the pressure of the product being exerted on the second piston and, during a second phase of the movement of the dosing cavity, the first piston is driven by the pressure of the product being exerted on the first piston, the second piston being immobilized in translation during this second phase.

Apparatus and method for dosing a product

A dispenser for dispensing a product. The dispenser comprises a container for containing a product. The container comprising a body having at least one deformable wall and an opening. The dispenser also comprises a dispensing adapter on the container. The dispensing adapter has a flow passage to be placed in flow communication with the opening of the container, and an outlet orifice forming a seat. A closure is configured to be received in a sealed position on the seat. A mount connects the closure to the dispensing adapter. At least a portion of the mount is elastically deformable and is configured such that force applied to the closure moves the closure away from the seat so as to allow the product to flow through the outlet orifice, and the closure elastically returns to the sealed position on the seat when the force is removed.

A dispensing member for a container may comprise a piston configured to slide between a first position and a second position inside the body of the dispensing member in response to pressure of a product exerted on the piston. A variable volume chamber may be at least partially defined by the piston and configured to communicate with a container. The first position of the piston may maximize a volume of the variable volume chamber, and the second position of the piston may minimize the volume of the variable volume chamber. A difference between the maximum volume and the minimum volume may comprise a first volume. The dispensing member may also include an outlet for passing product from the variable volume chamber as the piston moves from the first position to the second position. The dispensing member may be configured to dispense a first amount of product up to the first volume and, depending on a manner in which pressure of a product is exerted on the piston, a second amount of product.
