An air freshening device is provided. The device includes a water-based fragrance emitter including water, a water absorbing polymer and a fragrance composition. The fragrance composition includes from about 3% to about 70% by weight of at least one fragrance ingredient exhibiting a standard equilibrium headspace concentration (HS) below about 100 μg/L. The water-based fragrance emitter provides a working signal and an end of life signal upon evaporation. The air freshening device is a warming device.

Air freshening device

A perfume composition having controlled release of phytoncides in an atmosphere in order to generate an air condition resembling the air environment of a forest is provided. The perfume composition includes a) at least about 0.6% by weight of at least one phytoncide; and b) a perfume mixture including (i) at least one solvent; and (ii) at least one fragrance ingredient. At least about 25% by weight of the at least one phytoncide is selected from the group consisting of pinene alpha, pinene beta and combinations thereof.

Perfume compositions

A malodor reducing composition is provided. The composition includes a perfume mixture including (a) at least one odor-reducing material; and (b) at least one N-heterocycle selected from an aromatic N-heterocyclic moiety and N,S-heterocyclic moiety. The at least one odor-reducing material exhibits an Odor Value (OV) having a common decimal logarithm (logOV) of greater than about 5.5.

Malodor reducing compositions

A perfume composition providing differentiated odour depending on the assessment conditions is provided. The perfume composition includes a) less than 20% by weight of perfumery ingredients having an equilibrium headspace concentration (HS) between 151 and 900 microgram/l at 25&#xb0; C., b) at least 35% by weight of perfumery ingredients having a HS higher than 900 microgram/l at 25&#xb0; C. and b) 25% by weight of perfumery ingredients having a HS lower than or equal to 150 microgram/l at 25&#xb0; C. The perfume composition reduces consumer perfume habituation to said perfume product.

Fragrance compositions

Dishwasher detergent fragrance composition

A liquid electrical air care device for dispensing a liquid composition from a reservoir containing the liquid composition, wherein the liquid composition includes 0.1% to 10% by weight of the total liquid composition of a fragrance ingredient having a standard equilibrium headspace concentration (HS) of greater than 12 to 50 micrograms/litre and a Flexibility Index (FI) of 45 or more, and/or 0.1% to 7% by weight of the total liquid composition of a fragrance ingredient having a standard equilibrium headspace concentration (HS) between 5 and 12 micrograms/litre and a Flexibility Index (FI) of between 20 and 44, and/or 0 to 1% by weight of the total liquid composition of a fragrance ingredient having a standard equilibrium headspace concentration (HS) of less than 5 micrograms/litre and a Flexibility Index of between 7 and 19 (FI).

Relating to organic compounds

A malodour-counteracting device adapted to be used in an automatic dishwasher having at least one washing cycle and a final drying cycle, the device having the form of two connected containers, adapted to rest on a horizontal surface within the dishwasher to provide an upper container () and a lower container (), the lower container having the form of an open dish and the upper container, within which is a gradually-releasable evaporable malodour counteractant (), fitting within the lower container and providing at least one port () permitting the passage of malodour counteractant out of the upper container, the lower container being adapted, during the washing cycle, to contain sufficient water to submerge the port, and during the drying cycle to allow the port to be open. The device is easy and cheap to manufacture, and is effective for a prolonged period.
