Headlamp headband

A headlamp with&#x2014;a headband; a light source located at the front of the headband is presented. The headlamp has a load balancing device with two strands. The first strand has a first end (A) and a second end (B) respectively attached on one left front fixing point and one left rear fixing point of said headband. The second strand has a first end (A') and a second end (B&#x2032;) respectively attached on one right front fixing point and one right rear fixing point of said headband. There is an element wherein the first and second strands are thread up so as to bring closer the two strands at one common point C.

Load balancing device for improving the holding of a headlamp on the head of a user

A headlamp is disclosed with a lamp fitted with a light source; a headband allowing the fastening of the headlamp over the head of a user, where the headband has a constant length, symmetrical with respect to a median sagittal plane. The headband also has an alternation of rigid/semi rigid elements for allowing a deformation in the space and the adjustment on the user's head is presented. In addition, the headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section allowing a certain deformability along a first plane (x, y), a rigid/semi-rigid intermediate section allowing a certain deformability along a second plane (x, z) and a rigid/semi-rigid rear section allowing a certain deformability along a third plane (y, z). The headband has elements for the attachment and the passage of an elastic link for constraining the deformation of the rigid/semi rigid headband within the three planes.

Headlamp having a rigid/semi rigid headband

A headlamp which contains a lamp is disclosed, with a headband enabling the lamp to be held on the head of a user is presented. The headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section supporting the lamp using a pivot liaison. The pivot liaison allows rotation having: a first amplitude of at least 0 to +30 degrees and preferably 0 to 45 degrees to provide appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn in a conventional manner around the head. A second amplitude ranging from at least 0 to &#x2212;45 degrees, and preferably 0 to &#x2212;80 degrees provides appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn around the neck without being inverted. The 0 degree inclination corresponds to the pivot of the lamp which generates a horizontal light beam when the headlamp is positioned on the head of a standing user with the eyes fixing the horizon.

The present invention provides a headlamp capable of producing different light beams and fitted with a dynamic control mechanism for controlling the brightness minimizing light interference in all situations. The lamp comprises a light source with LED-type diodes; means for controlling the brightness and/or the geometry of the light beam; capturing means for generating an electrical signal representative of the reflected light intensity of the area illuminated by said light beam onto an illuminated object; and a control unit for generating control signals from the information generated by said capture system. The lamp has capturing means includes a focal system having a variable field under control of the control unit. Preferably, the capturing means includes at least two sensors with fixed focal length or, alternatively, a single sensor may be combined with a single controllable focal system electrically.

LED lamp with a brightness control device

This device comprises an enclosure and electric connections for connection, in a power supply circuit, with either one of two interchangeable electric power sources, as required. The enclosure delineates a housing accommodating either two primary cells together or a storage battery. A contact for connecting a terminal of one of the primary cells to a terminal of the other primary cell comprises a clamp that is deformable between a first configuration in which each one of two facing branches of the contact is positioned to connect one of said terminals by penetrating into an accommodating volume for accommodating the storage battery, and a second configuration in which the two branches are placed outside said accommodating volume which is left free.

Device for electric power supply of a portable lamp

A device for electric connection between a power supply connection of a portable receiver and a DC power source housed in an insulating case, comprising a first connector arranged at the end of the power supply connection and designed to be electrically connected to a second connector securedly attached to the case of the power source. The first connector comprises a pair of female contacts overmolded by an insulating enclosure bearing a securing element operating by clipping in conjunction with latching means associated with the second connector, which is provided with a pair of male contacts arranged in a housing of the case of the power source. The latching means of the second connector are fixed to the case above the housing.
