An optical filtering device, in particular for remote gas detection, including a member comprising a tubular passage accommodating a plurality of reflective structures capable of reflecting infrared wavelengths, said structures being elongated along an axis of the tubular passage and arranged around the axis. The reflective structures comprise means of filtering by absorption of bands of different wavelengths located in the infrared spectral band.

Optical filtering device for detecting gas

A detector device for optically detecting a gas in a zone of space under observation, the device comprising a camera and means for continuously detecting at least one gas in the observed zone by analyzing absorbance in a plurality of different spectral bands. The device further comprises a matrix of micromirrors that are individually steerable between at least two positions, in a first of which they reflect the radiant flux coming from the observed zone to the camera for detecting gas in said spectral bands, and in a second of which they reflect the radiant flux coming from the observed zone to a Fourier transform infrared spectroscope.

Device for the remote optical detection of gas

An remote optical gas detection device comprising a detection housing () connected to an electronic power supply unit and to a human-machine interface, this detection housing containing an infrared lens () for forming an image on an uncooled microbolometer matrix detector (), a CCD or CMOS-type camera () for observing the observed region under visible light, an assembly of electronic means () for controlling the detector and for acquiring and digitizing the infrared signals, as well as a processor () for processing these signals in order to detect a gas in the observed region and to determine the concentration thereof.
