A reliable pivotable air jet spinning nozzle which can be released from the bottom roller carrier is implemented by the bottom roller carrier including a bearing element having a free end, for receiving the air jet spinning nozzle, wherein the bearing element forms a pivot axis for pivoting the air jet spinning nozzle between an operating position and a second position, wherein the bearing element is connected to a portion spaced apart from the free end on the bottom roller carrier.

A textile machine for producing cross-wound packages, which has a plurality of workstations on the two longitudinal sides of the machine and is equipped with a tube magazine arranged at an end of the machine, the tube magazine having a plurality of empty-tube transport rows, driven by electric motor and loaded with empty tubes of different yarn lots. In order to avoid the fixed division of the empty-tube transport rows that hitherto was defined by the construction of the tube magazine and thus to avoid limited variations in the yarn lot management, the invention provides for the empty-tube transport rows to be equipped with electric drives, which are connected to a control unit of the textile machine, the machine control system being designed in such a way that different lot management programs are set by software.

Method for operating a service unit for processing work orders regarding a cross-wound package/empty tube doffing process employed at spinning machines producing take-up packages that process at least two different lots, whereby the service unit is fed an empty tube via the spinning machine's tube feed track, and the fed empty tube is taken up by the service unit. If the current work order for the cross-wound package/empty tube doffing of the workstations expires before it is processed and the empty tube is exchanged and another work order has come in which is for a workstation requiring a cross-wound package/empty tube doffing for another lot, the already taken up empty tube is released by the service unit, and the service unit takes up an empty tube of another lot in order to be able to carry out a cross-wound package/empty tube doffing process at the other workstation.
