A method for carrying out a cyclical manufacturing process produces parts within a predefined quality tolerance. After at least one process adjustment variable is changed, a quality feature of the parts produced with a changed process adjustment variable is checked against the range of the quality tolerance of the produced parts. A process characteristic variable zone is formed in an automated manner using at least one determined process characteristic variable variant that is process-stable and for which the process adjustment variable produces acceptable parts.

Method for performing a cyclic production process

A time variation of an internal pressure of the molding cavity of a multi-phase injection molding machine is detected and represented as an internal pressure graph. An internal pressure graph recorded during a production cycle that produced an injection molded part satisfying a predefined quality characteristic is used as a reference graph. If the internal pressure graph of the current production cycle exceeds a predefined threshold value, then a current machine parameter is changed so as to adapt an internal pressure graph of a subsequent production cycle to the reference graph. Each phase of the production cycle is assigned its own machine parameter determined to have a significant impact on the quality of the parts produced. The assigned machine parameters are changed in a predefined order in a plurality of production cycles wherein exactly one assigned machine parameter is changed per production cycle.

Method for reproducing injection molded parts of quality and injection molding unit for performing the method

A method for regulating an injection molding process in which process setting variables of an injection molding machine are controlled via a regulating module, which receives data from a process-internal sensor system of the injection molding machine, data on the fabricating sequence of the injection molding component parts from an external sensor system and/or data on the quality of a fabricated injection molded component part from an online component part control, evaluates these data in a quality prognosis module and, as a function of the data evaluation, performs a change in the process setting variables of the injection molding machine, because of the change in the process setting values, the working point of the injection molding machine being changed so that the quality features of the injection molded component parts fabricated using the changed working point lie within the specified tolerances of the quality of the injection molded component parts.

A measuring device for an injection molding system for ascertaining a batch-specific characteristic number of a plasticized plastic includes a flow channel which is situated between a plasticizing unit of an injection molding machine and an injection molding tool, a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor and a first temperature sensor and a second temperature sensor being situated along the flow channel. The flow channel has a taper between the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor.
