A multilayer laminating film contains at least one first and one second layer of plasticized polyvinyl acetal, wherein the first layer comprises a first plasticizer and a first polyvinyl acetal with a degree of acetalization of 75.1-84.0 mol % and a molar ratio of continuous sequences of vinyl alcohol groups with 5 members with a stereochemical sequence of rrrr of more than 0.23 based on the total amount of continuous syndiotactic sequences of vinyl alcohol groups with 3 members in the polyvinyl acetal, and the second layer comprises a second plasticizer and a second polyvinyl acetal with a degree of acetalization of 60-84 mol %.

A fluorescent display suitable for use in a heads up display contains a laminated glass structure containing a plasticized polyvinyl acetal film, at least one fluorophore, and at least one UV absorber, wherein the fluorophore and UV absorber are and remain spatially separated in the laminating film such that UV light projected from a display generating projector remains able to activate the fluorophores, and a UV component of sunlight has lessened ability to activate the fluorophore.

Fluorescent displays containing an interlayer film of polyvinylacetal which comprises plasticizers

Fluorescent displays are manufactured by lamination of at least one film A containing a polyvinyl acetal PA and, optionally, a plasticizer WA and at least one film B containing a polyvinyl acetal PB and at least one plasticizer WB between two glass panes, wherein prior to lamination, film A contains less than 22 wt. % plasticizer WA and contains 0.001 to 5 wt. % fluorophores, and film B contains at least 22 wt. % plasticizer WB and contains 0.005-5 wt. % UV absorber, each before lamination.

A polyvinyl acetal film contains at least one plasticizer and-% by weight of at least one UV absorber of Formula 1 where R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rare H, halogen, Calkyl, hydroxyalkyl, or alkoxyalkyl, and R, Rare branched or unbranched Calkyl, hydroxyalkyl, or alkoxyalkyl groups. The films can be used as museum glazing, display window glazing, as motor vehicle glazing, aircraft glazing, in photovoltaic modules, in LED or OLED screens, televisions, computer screens, big screens, in electrochromic glass elements, photochromic glass elements, and photoelectrochromic glass elements.
