A method for producing packagings (), in particular cartons, in which in at least one method step packaging parts (), in particular carton parts, are conveyed by a transport device () having a planar drive. The packaging parts () are in each case moved via at least one platform () of the transport device () which is movable by the planar drive, and are processed during a movement that is induced by the platform ().
