A method for operating a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle is configured to execute a driving maneuver that can be executed without a driver, wherein, before the driving maneuver is executed by a computing device of the motor vehicle, a check is made to determine that at least one admissibility requirement for the execution of the driving maneuver is met.
