This invention relates to a device for drying at least one object containing a liquid, in particular a dental restoration object (). Said device comprises a means for generating thermal energy acting upon the object and sufficient for increasing the temperature of the object to the boiling point. Moreover, the device includes an impingement area for impinging on the object with thermal energy and a control device () that is characterized by the fact that a temperature detection element () of the device () measures the temperature of the object (), and upon reaching a trigger temperature that is at the boiling temperature, somewhat below or somewhat above thereof, emits a signal to the control device.

Dental furnace

The invention relates to a dentel device for the treatment of a dental restoration part, comprising at least one operating program, a storage of the dental device and at least one detection device for at least one object. The detection device can detect data of the object and this data, in particular together with an operating program associated with the object, can be stored in a storage of the dental device or can be compared to the data of objects which have been stored in advance in the storage of the dental device. The dental device, depending on the comparison result of the data of a detected object with the data of objects which have been stored in advance in the storage of the dental device, starts the associated operating program or shows it for selection.

Dental device

This invention relates to a process for controlling a dental firing furnace in which a temperature in a firing chamber of the dental furnace is detected by means of a temperature sensor, and in which a heating element that is controlled by a control device controls the heating of the firing chamber of the dental firing furnace based on the measurement result of the temperature sensor. In this process a dental restoration part is received within the firing chamber of the dental furnace. The heating is controlled so that the dental restoration part reacts exothermically, emitting additional heat. The additional heat is detected by the temperature sensor which is pointed at the dental restoration part and the control device delivers at least one signal representing the additional heat, such as in the form of a display signal and/or control signal.

The invention relates to a dental furnace, in particular a firing furnace or press furnace, for firing or pressing a dental restoration part which is receivable in the furnace, possibly after pre-heating in a pre-heating furnace, and which is placeable on a base, in particular centrally thereon, wherein the dental furnace comprises a firing chamber whose diameter is larger than, in particular at least twice as large as, the largest dental restoration part to be fired, and which comprises a control device and an operating unit at the or for the dental furnace (), wherein by means of the operating unit () the size and/or the weight and/or the number of the dental restoration part(s) () to be fired or pressed is adjustable in units.

A dental furnace having a display device and an operating device () for the dental furnace, is provided, the operating device being integrated in particular in the display device by forming a touch screen (), and the operating device () facilitating the selection of programs for the firing of dental restoration parts in the dental furnace. The operating device () allows in particular the input of further parameters for a firing cycle. An operating element () facilitates the control of a final firing program of the dental furnace, namely with different values for the temperature as well as for the duration of the final firing, the operating element () making possible the simultaneous adjusting of temperature and duration parameters of the final firing.

Dental furnace having a combined display and operating device

A process for manufacturing a dental restoration part as well as a dental furnace are provided in which the dental restoration part is produced on a foundation by means of applying at least two layers, wherein initial data, in particular three-dimensional data of the foundation, are stored in a memory device, and picture data, in particular three-dimensional data concerning the outer contour of the dental restoration part to be produced and the layers of the dental restoration part to be applied, are determined and in particular stored. It is provided that the dental restoration part is positioned at least partially during its production within the picture recording area of a picture recording device (), and that before finishing the dental restoration part () and upon the application of at least one layer, the latter is recorded at least with regards to the thickness of the layer and/or its color, is displayed in particular via a display device (). Furthermore, the layer recorded is compared with the picture data () at least regarding the thickness of the layer. An error signal is produced if the layer applied does not correspond to the predetermined layer in accordance with the picture data () regarding the thickness of the layer and/or the color and/or the other parameters.
