A radiant heating device for producing radiant heat in a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes a heating surface for emitting heat radiation, a heating element for providing heating power, a first temperature sensor for detecting a first temperature in a specific spot and for providing a corresponding first temperature indication, and a second temperature sensor for detecting a second temperature on the surface and for providing a corresponding second temperature indication. In order to detect a local over-heating of the heating surface, a difference between the two temperature indications is determined. In the event of a defect, a protective operating mode is then selected.

A heat pump system for climate control of an electric or hybrid vehicle includes an air conditioning unit having a heating heat exchanger, and an air conditioning unit evaporator having a refrigeration circuit, in which the air conditioning unit evaporator and a condenser are arranged. The refrigeration circuit includes a low temperature (LT) circuit in which at least one electrical power component is arranged. The heat pump system is configured to switch over between a cooling mode and a heating mode. Temperature control of an interior of a motor vehicle having an electrical drive is carried out by a heat pump arrangement having a heating temperature region and a low temperature region, wherein the heating temperature region includes at least one interior heat exchanger thermally coupled to the interior and the low temperature region includes at least one of an exterior heat exchanger and a heat exchanger disposed on a component of the electrical drive. When the interior of the motor vehicle is be temperature-controlled, heat energy from the heating temperature region of the heat pump arrangement is delivered to the interior of the vehicle, and the operating point of the electrical drive is altered such that the generation of thermal losses is controlled in at least one electrical component of the electrical drive, such that the temperature of the low temperature region in the stationary or quasi-stationary operation is controlled at a level so as to ensure that the heat pump arrangement can provide the heating energy.

Method and air conditioning unit for air conditioning an interior of an electrically driven vehicle

A method and a system are provided for controlling waste heat generated by a motor vehicle having an electric drive including a rechargeable battery and an electric machine for driving the motor vehicle. The method includes determining the thermal load on at least two components of the electric drive; if a first electric component of the electric drive has a lower thermal load than a second electric component, actuating the electric drive such that the generation of waste heat in the first electric component increases and the generation of waste heat in the second electric component does not increase; and if the second electric component has a lower thermal load than the first electric component, actuating the electric drive such that the generation of waste heat in the second electric component increases and the generation of waste heat in the first electric component does not increase.

Method and control device for controlling the waste heat generated by an electric vehicle

Accurate control of transmission information ad hoc networks

Apparatuses, realtime-stations, computer programs, and methods for scheduling of traffic in wireless networks are provided. In one embodiment, a method is provided for scheduling of traffic in a wireless networks including real-time stations intending to send real-time traffic and best-effort stations sending best effort traffic. The method can include overhearing for a predetermined period of time the traffic by a station which intends to send real-time traffic, and if from the overhearing the station concludes that there is already a primary station transmitting real-time access markers, assuming by the station a sequence number based on the number of real-time stations which already are sending real-time traffic.
