The invention relates to a compressed gas storage tank, in particular for a motor vehicle, with a holder that is designed to store a compressed fuel, and with at least one pressure relief valve. Fuel is dischargeable from the holder into environment of the compressed gas tank due to the opening of at least one pressure relief valve. A catalytic converter device of the compressed gas storage tank is designed to catalyze an oxidation reaction of fuel originating from the holder with oxygen. The compressed gas storage tank has at least one piezoelectric element to which a pressure can be applied by opening the at least one pressure relief valve. Through the pressure, at least one spark can be generated by means of the at least one piezoelectric element. The invention furthermore relates to a method for operating a compressed gas storage tank of said type.

Compressed gas tank and method for operating a compressed gas tank

The invention relates to a fuel cell system with at least one fuel cell stack, which comprises an anode chamber and a cathode chamber, with at least one air conveying device for the supply of the cathode chamber with air via a feed air line, with an outlet air line from the cathode chamber, with at least one fuel supply device for the supply of the anode chamber with fuel, with at least one anode circuit for the recirculation of unused fuel around the anode chamber, furthermore with a cathode bypass. The fuel cell system according to the invention is characterized in that the cathode bypass line branches off from the feed air line upstream of or in the region of a valve device in said feed air line, and opens into the outlet air line downstream of or in the region of a further valve device in said outlet air line, wherein a gas jet pump which can be driven by the air which flows around the cathode chamber is arranged in the cathode bypass, which gas jet pump is connected switchably on the suction side to the anode chamber and/or the cathode chamber.

Fuel cell system

A separator plate () for media guiding in a fuel cell, with at least one through-opening () for supplying and at least one through-opening () for discharging a medium, with a channel structure () for uniformly guiding the medium, as well as with distribution regions () which connect the through-openings () with the channel structure (). At least one of the distribution regions () surrounds at least one of the through-openings () associated with it around the entire perimeter.

A tank valve for installation on a compressed gas container has a base body having a shared gas connection for refueling/extraction which is divided inside the base body into a refueling line and an extraction line as part of an extraction path, and has an extraction valve in the extraction line. The tank valve has a check valve disposed in the extraction path in series with the extraction valve, blocking the flow against the flow direction when gas is extracted.

A tank valve for installation at a pressure gas tank has a base body including a first base body section, which in the assembled state projects into the pressure gas tank and is sealingly connected with the same, and includes a second base body section, which in the assembled state remains outside the pressure gas tank. The tank valve further has a plurality of functional sub-groups for refueling the pressure gas tank via a refueling path, for the extraction of gas from the pressure gas tank via an extraction path, and for implementing safety and operating functions.

Valve device () for a pressurized gas container (), having a valve housing and functional elements which are introduced into the valve housing. One of the functional elements is an extraction valve () having a valve body () that is movable between an open position and a closed position. A manual actuating element () is provided for moving the valve body () into an at least partially open position.

Valve device for a pressurized gas container

An extraction valve for overpressurized gas flowing from a compressed gas reservoir is disclosed. The extraction valve has a valve seat carrier, including a conical valve seat emerging centrally into an outflow chamber. An extraction piston, which is mobile in its axial direction at least indirectly via an electromagnetic coil, includes a valve body cooperating with the valve seat. An inflow chamber for the pressurized gas is designed totally or partially on the circumference of a central axis of the extraction piston and is connected in the axial direction of the extraction piston against a flow direction of the gas when the extraction piston is in the open position, between the valve seat and the valve body via an intermediate connection with an intermediate volume which includes a connection with the region in which the valve seat and the valve body co-operate.

Extraction valve

Extraction valve () for an highlypressurized gas flowing from a compressed gas reservoir (), having a pressure sleeve () hermetically sealed on one side and a mobile extraction piston (), which by moving releases or seals an extraction cross-section, and which on the open side of the pressure sleeve () protrudes at least partially into the same. An anchor () made of magnetisable material which is mobile in the pressure sleeve (); an anchor which co-operates with an electromagnetic coil (). A pilot bore () in the extraction piston (), which connects the inside of the pressure sleeve () to a discharge opening () for the extracted gas and a sealing element (), which is pressed by a spring element () in a seal-forming manner against the pilot bore () and is released in case of movement of the anchor (). The extraction piston () is sealed off with respect to the pressure sleeve () by means of a gasket (); and that a bypass bore () is arranged in the extraction piston (), which bypass bore () extends between the side facing the region connected to the compressed gas reservoir () and the side of the extraction piston () facing the inside of the pressure sleeve ().

A fuel cell stack has a multiplicity of individual cells, which each include an anode flow field, a membrane electrode arrangement, and a cathode flow field. Each flow field has a media inlet and channels for carrying the media. The anode flow fields and/or the cathode flow fields have the media inlet on their upward-facing side when used as intended, and are open on their downward-facing side when used as intended.

Fuel cell stack

A fuel cell system includes at least one fuel cell having an anode chamber, a cathode chamber, a hydrogen pressure reservoir, a recirculation line connecting an outlet of the anode chamber to an inlet of the anode chamber, a recirculation conveyor with a compressor wheel in the region of the recirculation line, and a turbine for expanding the hydrogen that is under pressure before entry into the anode chamber. The recirculation conveyor is driven at least partially by the turbine. The turbine and the compressor wheel are formed in one component.
