A plug connector having a housing located at a plate opening in an operating position, and the plug connector contains wires and/or braids of a cable and electrical contacts. Assembly on the plate is realized by a flange plate attached to the outside of the housing having an interior recess with an interior dimension for engaging the housing of the plug connector. The flange plate is constructed as a single piece, and one of the interior recesses has a continuous slot extending to the outside, which slot acts as a clamp slot with the interior dimension of the interior recess being made smaller by narrowing the slot, and an arrangement is provided, by which the flange plate can be pressed in and thus clamped onto the outside of the housing. Preferably, the slot is reduced by at least one clamp screw with locking threads, or a lock nut.

Plug connector for front plate or back plate assembly

A kit or set made up of a number of differently dimensioned types of cable glands, which can each be used to hold and fix cables of different diameters or dimensions, respectively including two differently dimensioned clamping or sealing inserts so that the cable can be clamped at an outer sheath on the one hand and at an inner sheath on the other hand, wherein a shielding braid is provided between the two sheaths and emerges from the larger sheath at a point where the latter ends, with the result that it can come into touching contact with the respective cable gland. In this case, a smaller clamping or sealing insert of a larger cable gland type also has the same dimensions with regard to its support in the respective screw sleeve as the larger clamping or sealing insert of a further cable gland type of smaller dimensions; in other words, two differently dimensioned cable glands nevertheless each contain a structurally identical clamping and sealing insert, thereby improving the mass production and stocking of the sealing inserts.

Kit or set comprising at least two differently dimensioned types of cable glands

An angled plug-in connector () is provided having an insulating body that is located in a first angled limb () and that contains electric contacts. The conductor or conductors that extend from the insulating body extend through a second angled limb (). The opposing end faces () of the angled limbs () that lie in the angled region are oblique, generally forming a mitre and are interconnected by an articulation or in a detachable manner. At least one of the two angled limbs is provided with a recess or annular groove (), which extends over the greater part of a circumference thereof, is open to an exterior over at least a part of its length, and in which a fitted spring-loaded ring () can be placed. The ring () is open or includes a gap () and has two end sections (). At least one of the end sections projects beyond the recess or annular groove (), extending from the angled limb when in the working position and engages in a retaining element () on the other angled limb, when in the locked or working position of the plug-in connector.

Angled electric plug-in connector comprising a first angled limb and a second angled limb

An electric angled plug-in connector () is provided having an insulating body that is arranged in a first angled limb () and that contains electric contacts. One or more electric wires extend through a second angled limb (). The two opposing faces () of the angled limbs () that lie in the angled area are diagonal, essentially forming a miter and are connected to each other in an articulated or detachable manner. At least one of the angled limbs is provided with a retaining element () having a cavity in the form of a recess, opening (), or undercut. The continuation of the cavity of the retaining element () on the other angled limb located in the closed position is provided with a seat or guide () that extends around an exterior of the angled limb and a coupling element () is mounted in the receiving element or guide () and in the cavity in order to fix the two angled limbs () to one another, thus blocking a relative motion or pivoting of the angled limbs () relative to one another.

A connector fitting for fixing a longitudinal body, for example, a cable, a hose, a pipe, a corrugated hose to a wall opening. The connector fitting includes a chuck, which penetrates the opening and includes slits that extend in an axial direction. The chuck is radially outwardly expandable, in an insertion direction behind the opening into a clamping region containing the slits, and can be tightened on an outer side or in front of the opening of the housing by the thread and a matching tensioning nut, such that the clamping region can be withdrawn into the opening and thus braced against the longitudinal body. The tensioning nut includes an abutment acting in the axial direction and the chuck comprises a counter-abutment adjacent to its thread section, and the counter-abutment exerts pressure on the abutment in a released position of the chuck.

Connector fitting

A terminal connection () is provided that includes a threaded sleeve () and a counter sleeve () that can be connected to it, and a terminal insert that can be pressed against an elongated body (). The connection has a coupling element () that can be detachably connected to the connection and includes a depression () and a passage () for the elongated body (), and a radially protruding collar located on the threaded sleeve () fits and can be inserted into the depression (). The coupling element () has radially inwardly directed projections () for engaging over the collar of the threaded sleeve () in the coupling position that are located on a front edge of the depression in the insertion direction of the threaded sleeve (). The coupling element () has a fixing area () adjacent to the depression () for connecting to a counterpart or a retaining nut and/or through opening () of a housing (), to which the terminal connection () is to be attached. This enables the elongated body to be connected in a fixed manner to a counterpart or housing prior to its fixation and to be subsequently mounted.

A cable connection () for connecting a cable () on a housing or a wall is provided. The cable connection includes a threaded bushing () in which the connection contacts () are arranged, and a conductor compartment (), which in a use position, holds conductors () or wires of the cable () to be to be connected, with the conductors coming to rest against the contacts () after insertion of the conductor compartment () into the threaded bushing (). The connection also includes a clamping insert () that surrounds the cable () and lies axially adjacent to the conductor compartment (), fixing the cable in an axial direction in the threaded bushing (), and a cap nut () that is screwed onto the threaded bushing () for simultaneous radial deformation of the clamping insert () and fixing of the cable () in a final position of use. The conductor compartment () and the cap nut () are separate and can be attached to the threaded bushing () one after the other and a snap-in connection for axial fixing of the conductor compartment () is provided on the threaded bushing () for axially securing the conductor compartment () in the contact position.

Cable connection

A connecting fitting used for fixing longitudinal bodies to perforations or openings, especially in the wall of a housing, which include retaining projecting elements that engage with the edge of the perforation from the rear, and a stop in the form of a plastic ring which, in use, lies on a side of the opening opposite the edge of the opening that is engaged from the rear. The elastic ring is supported by a surface of the connecting fitting which expands from an area adjacent the opening from inside toward outside in an oblique manner, whereby the ring can be moved and displaced axially when the diameter is elastically enlarged, in order to account for different wall thicknesses. In order to compensate for even greater differences in wall thicknesses, the connecting fitting, adjacent to the region of the oblique surface, is divided into a separate part which include the oblique surface that is displaceable on the connecting fitting in an axial direction, whereby the axial distance of the oblique surface to the retaining projecting elements can be modified or selected, thereby allowing for at least approximate adaptation to various wall thicknesses.

A connection fitting for the fastening of elongated bodies, for example of cables ( ) or also hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses and the like, in an opening ( ), which can be a through hole or a boring in a wall ( ) of a building. The connection fitting includes a clamping collet ( ) which, in its operation position, penetrates the opening ( ) and is self expanding behind the opening ( ), and which, by means of an axial retraction opposite to the direction of insertion, is also radially compressible and thus exerts a clamping force on the elongated body. To effect this motion of retraction, a sheath ( ) is provided, which is frictionally connected or force-fit connected with a locking ring ( ), which, by rotational movement of the sheath ( ) itself turns accordingly and, by its own threading, is axially displaced until the ring ( ) abuts the wall ( ) on the opening rim ( ) and remains there in a stop position. In this way, the respective thickness of the wall ( ) is accommodated. A further turning of the sheath ( ) using the frictional coupling with the locking ring ( ) is possible, so that the clamping collet ( ), following the attainment of the stop position of the locking ring ( ), can being tensioning or be further tensioned because of corresponding axial dimensioning of the threading. For the user, it is principally necessary, to turn the sheath ( ) in a uniform direction, in order to activate an adjustment of the connection fitting to the thickness of the wall and to firmly secure the elongated body ( ) with the clamping collet.

A connection fitting ( ) for fastening long bodies ( ), such as cables, hoses, or pipes to an opening ( ), for example in a wall ( ) of a housing, has at least one fastening projection ( ) which is divided by slits ( ) opening in the radial and axial direction into abutment tongues ( ). These tongues ( ) have mounting projections ( ) on their free ends projecting radially from the axis of the connection fitting ( ). These abutment tongues ( ) can be deformed radially inwardly of the fastening projection ( ), when the fastening projection ( ) is shoved into the opening ( ), and thereby reach the mounting position behind the edge ( ) of the opening ( ). At a distance from the mounting projections ( ) at least one stop ( ) is arranged, which rests in the use position against the edge ( ) lying opposite the edge ( ) of the opening ( ) engaged behind. A locking device ( ), which in the loosened position is arranged outside of the area of the abutment tongues ( ) and in the use position is arranged to be locking between them and blocking their radial deformation, has an outer threading, and the fastening projection ( ) has an inner threading ( ) fitting therewith. On the fastening projection ( ) there is a carrier stop ( ) for the lock ( ), on which the lock comes to rest in its locking position. The fastening projection ( ) also has an outer threading ( ) opposite in direction from the outer threading ( ) of the lock ( ), which fits into an internal threading ( ) of an opposing piece ( ) that forms the stop ( ). By movement of the lock ( ) into the locking position, the connection fitting ( ) can be braced with its fastening projection ( ) on the opening ( ) and adapted to different thicknesses of the wall ( ).
