A food preparation appliance includes a food preparation vessel, a lid, an attachment part, a locking device, and a plurality of sensors. The lid may be placed on the food preparation vessel. The attachment part may be placed on the food preparation vessel instead of the lid. The locking device is for locking the lid placed on the food preparation vessel and for locking the attachment part placed on the food preparation vessel.

The present disclosure relates to a food preparation appliance including a food preparation pot and a rotatable tool for chopping and/or blending a food in the food preparation pot wherein the tool is detachably connected to a shaft, which is at least partially outside the food preparation pot in order to be coupled to a drive for rotation. Further, a locking mechanism is provided for connecting the tool to the shaft in a locked manner. The locking mechanism is arranged in such a way that, during operation, the tool can be driven by the shaft in both rotation directions for chopping and/or blending a food.

The present disclosure relates to a food preparation appliance comprising a rotatable tool for chopping and/or blending a food in a food preparation pot. The tool can be mounted for rotating and can be detachably connected to a shaft. The shaft can be at least partially outside the food preparation pot. A locking mechanism is provided for connecting the tool to the shaft in a locked manner. The locking of the tool to the shaft can take place automatically. The food preparation appliance can thus be cleaned with particularly little effort.

The present disclosure relates to food preparation appliance with a rotatable tool for chopping and/or mixing a food in a food preparation container, the tool being detachably connected to a shaft, which extends from outside the food preparation container through a passage toward the tool inside the food preparation container in order to be able to drive the tool to rotate. A locking mechanism is provided for producing a locked connection of the tool to the shaft and is equipped so that a releasing and/or a locking of the connection of the tool from/to the shaft can be performed from outside the food preparation container. An activation device for transmitting a user input to a control device has an engaging element that forms a first housing part and a feeding element that forms a second housing part. The engaging element has a push magnet, whose magnetic field extends into the feeding element and the feeding element has a push magnet that can be displaced without contact through exposure to the magnetic field. The engaging push magnet can be displaced in the direction of the feeding element by pressure-activating the activation device, and is set up to exert a magnetic force on a corresponding feeding push magnet. The engaging element and feeding element each have at least one rotating magnet that can be displaced parallel to an intermediate plane running between them. The engaging rotating magnet of the engaging element exerts a magnetic force on a corresponding feeding rotating magnet of the feeding element.
