Systems and methods are provided that automatically process message input and provide action responses according to the processing results. The automatic action response system may leverage at least one machine-learning algorithm that is trained using a dataset. The provided action responses may comprise of default action responses and/or intelligent action responses that are based at least in part on prior conversational data between a user and a sender. Some intelligent action responses may include text-based replies, which eliminate the need for a user to type a reply on a device screen, thereby saving previous time, conserving device battery life, and preserving the integrity of the device hardware. A portion of a message may be highlighted manually by a user or automatically by the action response system to initiate the automatic action response system. In this way, a more efficient and productive user experience across various devices and applications is achieved.

Automatic action responses

Systems and methods for providing an enriched link interface are discussed herein. The system identifies a link within an electronic document to a content item such as a webpage or a document. The content item is accessed via the link and content data from the content item is retrieved. The system also retrieves contextual information about a user. The contextual information about the user and the content item are used to generate a contextually sensitive summary of the content item. Thereafter, the system modifies the electronic document to include an enriched link interface comprising the link and contextually sensitive summary. Accordingly the system optimizes the display of the electronic document to display an enriched link interface including additional information such as a contextually sensitive summary of the content item, which reduces a user's need to access the link thereby conserving computing resources and network bandwidth.

Contextually sensitive summary

Systems, methods and computer-readable media for providing conversational calendar integration are disclosed. According to aspects, a meeting organizer is able to select multiple proposed meeting times for the meeting. The attendees are presented with multiple proposed meeting times in the context of the attendee's calendar. The user interface within the meeting request is optimized to provide the user with a visual demonstration of the proposed meeting times, thereby providing the attendee with the ability to quickly and visually identify whether any of the proposed meeting times conflict. Thus, conversational calendar integration reduces network traffic and improves network efficiency/performance.
