A method for starting-up a steam turbine of a combined-cycle power plant is provided. The combined-cycle power plant includes a gas turbine and a steam power generation system having a steam turbine. The combined-cycle power plant activates at least one electric generator connectable to an electric grid. The gas turbine includes a compressor, such that, during starting-up of the steam turbine, both the gas turbine and the steam turbine are in operation. The steam turbine adjusts its load as a function of the load of the gas turbine in such a way that the sum of the load provided by the gas turbine and of the load provided by the steam turbine is equal to the auxiliary power demand of the plant. The load exported to the grid is equal to zero.

Method for starting-up and operating a combined-cycle power plant

Method for operating a combined-cycle power plant is provided. The plant includes at least a gas turbine and at least a steam power generation system. The plant activates at least one electric generator connectable to an electric grid, wherein the gas turbine includes a compressor. The steam power generation system includes a steam turbine, a heat recovery steam generator and a bypass line. The method is such that the gas turbine de-loads to a condition, where the compressor operates at its nominal speed. The method is such that the steam turbine de-loads in coordination with the de-load of the gas turbine, to a condition where the total load exported by the plant to the grid is substantially equal to zero, being both the gas turbine and the steam power generation system connected.

Method for operating a combined-cycle power plant

A steam turbine is provided having a relief groove which is arranged in the region of the equalizing piston and extends in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The relief groove, with regard to an inlet passage, is arranged in the axial upstream direction so that it is arranged on the rotor outside a region in which the steam flow enters the bladed flow path via the inlet passage. The relief groove, with regard to the first blade row, is arranged in a region in which the greatest thermal stresses can arise in the rotor. As an option, the relief groove has a cover for reducing vortex flows, and also devices for reducing heating of the groove or devices for active cooling. The steam turbine allows an increased number of risk-free running up and running down operations of the steam turbine with minimum detriment to the turbine performance.

A premix burner is disclosed, with a swirl generator which delimits a conical swirl space and provides at least two conical part shells which are arranged, offset to one another, along a burner axis, mutually enclose in each case air inlet slits running longitudinally with respect to the burner axis and have in combination a conically widening premix burner outer contour having a maximum outside diameter which narrows axially into a region with a minimum outside diameter. At least one conical part shell provides, in the region between the maximum and the minimum outside diameter, a reception unit which deviates from the conically widening premix burner outer contour and locally elevates the premix burner outer contour radially outward and which has a maximum radial extent which is dimensioned smaller than half the maximum outside diameter of the premix burner outer contour. Within the reception unit, at least one hollow duct is provided, with at least one duct orifice facing away from the swirl space and with a duct longitudinal extent which runs essentially parallel to the burner axis.

In an emission probe (11, 21) for the removal of exhaust gas from the combustion chamber of a gas turbine, comprising a one-piece probe tube (12, 22, 31, 41) which, in its interior, has an emission passage (13, 24, 32, 42) extending in the direction of the tube axis and two cooling passages (14a,b; 25; 25a,b; 34a,b; 45a,b) extending parallel to the emission passage (13, 24, 32, 42) and adjacent to one another, optimum cooling in combination with simple construction is achieved by virtue of the fact that, as seen in cross section, the cooling passages (25; 25a,b; 34a,b; 45a,b) at least partially enclose the emission passage (24, 32, 42) and occupy the interior of the probe tube (22, 31, 41) to an extent such that the wall thickness of the tube wall (212; 38; 48) between the cooling passages (25; 25a,b; 34a,b; 45a,b) and the external space surrounding the probe tube (22, 31, 41) is approximately constant over the majority of the tube circumference, and wherein a plurality of cooling ribs (210; 35; 44) is provided, which project from the tube wall (212; 38; 48) into the interior of the cooling passages (25; 25a,b; 34a,b; 45a,b).
