The present invention relates to a composition comprising &#x2014;a specific binder containing at least one cocondensate based on at least one &#x3c9;-glycidyloxyalkylalkoxysilane and a bis(alkoxyalkylsilyl)amine, &#x2014;water, &#x2014;alcohol in an amount of less than 3% by weight, based on the composition, &#x2014;at least one addition selected from the group consisting of particulate metals, metal alloys and metal compounds and &#x2014;optionally at least one additive, where the pH of the composition is from 1 to 14 and the dry residue of the binder is from 1 to 50% by weight, based on the binder used, a process for the production thereof and also the use thereof for coatings, in particular for the protection of metals against corrosion.

Composition containing 3-glycidyloxypropylalkoxysilane oligomers, process for the production thereof and use thereof

A process produces a C- to C-alkyltrialkoxysilane by hydrosilylation, wherein alkoxy represents methoxy, ethoxy or propoxy. Initially, a mixture is charged of at least one hydroalkoxysilane from the group of hydrotrialkoxysilane, hydroalkyldialkoxysilane, and hydrodialkylalkoxysilane, and a Pt catalyst. The mixture is then heated to a temperature of 30&#xb0; C. to 60&#xb0; C. Subsequently, with mixing, an omega-unsaturated or mono-unsaturated C- to C-hydrocarbon, at least one carboxylic acid and at least one alcohol as cocatalysts are added to the mixture. The mixture is then reacted and subsequently worked up to obtain the product.

Process for producing alkylalkoxysilanes

A process can prepare an isocyanurate compound by hydrosilylation. The invention relates to a method for treating an ammonium halogenide and/or residue containing organic aminhydrohalogenides, produced during the production of an amino-functional organosilane of general formula (I) RN[(CH)NH](Z)Si(R&#x2033;)(OR')(Ia), wherein the production of the amino-functional organosilane according to formula (Ia) is based on the conversion of a halogen-functional organosilane of general formula (II) X&#x2014;Z&#x2014;Si(R&#x2033;)(OR&#x2032;)(II), with excess ammonia or an organic amine of general formula (III) RNH[(CH)NH]R (III) and subsequently separating and treating the raw product and the resulting residue containing salt. The treatment consists of adding an essentially non-polar organic solvent and an aqueous lye to the residue. The mixture is reacted, subsequently the aqueous phase is separated from the organic phase, the organic solvent contained in the organic phase is removed from said phase and the residual organic phase is recovered.

Method for treating residues containing salt, produced during the production of amino-functional organosilanes

The present invention relates to a curable mixture suitable for obtaining 'easy-to-clean' properties in the cured mixture, comprising at least one mineral binder, a powder comprising at least one fluoroorganyl-substituted silicon compound encapsulated in a water-soluble polymer, the amount of the silicon compound being 0.001% to 8% by weight, based on the present mixture, and optionally further adjuvants, and also to a process for preparing the mixture and to the use thereof. The invention further relates to a water-redispersible powder and also to a corresponding intermediate for use in the curable mixture in order to obtain 'easy-to-clean' properties in the cured mixture. Also claimed, furthermore, is a process for preparing the powder, and the use thereof.

Mixtures of silicon-containing coupling reagents comprising (mercaptoorganyl)alkylpolyethersilanes containing silanol groups and (mercaptoorganyl)alkylpolyethersilanes free of silanol groups in a weight ratio of from 5:95 to 95:5. The mixtures can be prepared by transesterification and hydrolysis. The mixtures can be used in rubber mixtures.
