Implementations of the present disclosure include methods, systems, and computer-readable storage mediums for selecting an on-demand technology configuration, including receiving a request, the request including a plurality of properties, processing the request using a plurality of classifiers to generate a plurality of request classes associated with the plurality of properties, processing the plurality of request classes using a first neural network to identify one or more technologies relevant to the request, processing each of the one or more technologies using a second neural network to identify one or more technology configurations for each of the one or more technologies, and processing each of the one or more technology configurations to identify a target technology configuration.

On demand multi-objective network optimization

Operating parameters of one or more software appliances may be set at a configuration manager. Compliance of the one or more software appliances with license terms may be maintained at a license manager. Communications may be executed between the license manager and the configuration manager to maintain compliance of the operating parameters with the license terms. A user interface may be provided for administration of the one or more software appliances therewith, the administration including deployment of the one or more software appliances, the license manager, the configuration manager, and a deployment manager within a system landscape. Communication may be executed between the license manager and the deployment manager to maintain compliance of the administration of the one or more software appliances with the license terms. Communication may be executed between the deployment manager and the configuration manager to manage the deployment relative to the operating parameters.

Flexible appliance hosting with coordination of deployment, licensing and configuration

A method and a system are described that involve autonomic provisioning of hosted applications with level of isolation terms. In one embodiment, the system includes an infrastructure registry to provide a set of heterogeneous infrastructure resources, an autonomic provisioning service unit to select a subset of the heterogeneous infrastructure resources, (the subset of resources to fulfill a service level agreement (SLA) with a corresponding level of isolation), and a monitoring unit to collect information about the subset of resources and send the collected information to the autonomic provisioning service unit. In another embodiment, the method includes providing a set of heterogeneous infrastructure resources, selecting a subset of the set of heterogeneous infrastructure resources, the subset of heterogeneous infrastructure resources is defined in a configuration template to fulfill a service level agreement (SLA) with a corresponding level of isolation, and allocating the subset of infrastructure resources in the registry.

Autonomic provisioning of hosted applications with level of isolation terms

Techniques for providing application layer security may be facilitated by an arbitrator. In general, in one implementation, an arbitrator may receive a security tender including security requirements for an application, search for security services to fulfill the security requirements, determine whether discovered security services can satisfy the security requirements, and, if security services that can satisfy the security requirements exist, generate a security contract for the application, the security contract specifying how the application is to communicate with the security services that can satisfy the security requirements.

Application level security

Techniques are provided for object management. In certain implementations, object management includes determining whether a signal representing the presence of at least one object to be monitored has been received and determining whether a signal representing the state of at least one object to be monitored has been received. If a signal representing the presence of at least one object to be monitored has been received, a determination is made as to whether a predetermined quantity of objects is present. If a signal representing the state of at least one object to be monitored has been received, a determination is made as to whether at least one object has a predetermined state.

Object management

Manufacturing processes and related systems are disclosed which provide for fast, reliable, inexpensive production of customizable goods. Types of manufacturing equipment elements are individually equipped with various sensors and effecters, and associated with a software agent running on a dedicated processor. The elements may be made mobile, perhaps by placing the individual pieces of equipment on a movable trolley, and further equipped with a wireless transceiver. In this way, the elements may be easily assembled for a manufacturing process, with minimal human intervention required. Moreover, the elements may execute the steps of the manufacturing process in an autonomous, intelligent fashion.
