A cannula comprising a hollow tube made of a biocompatible, thermoplastic polymer, memory shape material, tipped with an injection needle or an electrode at it distal end, assumes desired shapes as it distally emerges from a lumen or channel of an instrument such as an introducer or endoscope. The desires shapes include a curvature conforming to an inverse tangent function. The cannula may be supplied alone, with or without an injection needle or electrode, and in a sterile pouch, for use with a device of a user's choice that has a suitable lumen or channel to guide the cannula, of the cannula may be used without such an instrument. The injection needle can be shorter than conventional to thereby inject medication only or primarily in submucosa and can be sharpened only or mostly at it distal end while the remaining portion of a bevel is not sharp, to thereby reduce the size of an opening the needle makes in tissue and helps keep the medication from leaking out of the injection site.

Endoscopic cannula

A tissue core sample in a metal core collector or stylet is touched to a substrate channel filled with as special liquid such as a hydrogel to which the tissue core sample is attracted to thereby transfer the tissue sample to the channel while preserving the integrity of the sample, speeding up the transfer and preserving the sample orientation so it can be unambiguously associated with its anatomical origin.

A process and related assemblies for delivering slush through a tube towards a patient. Obtaining an elongated container partially filled with slush with a port end that has a first port and a second port. Placing the first port in fluid communication with tubing for delivery of slush towards the patient. Placing the second port in fluid communication with a source of gas which may be air. Subjecting the elongated container to automated repetitive movements so that the slush in the partially filled elongated container moves against interior surfaces within the elongated container. Ideally, two different forms of repetitive motion are used to impose complex movement upon the slush within the elongated container. Applying a pressure gradient to cause slush to flow out of the first port towards the patient. The elongated container may be made from a slush bottle with a reversibly engaged cap with the two ports.

Injectable slush feed supply

The present invention relates to a device that facilitates the mounting of beads onto a fishing hook, such as a fly fishing hook. In one embodiment, the device may have a storage chamber and one or more of a loading access tip, a bead loading hole and/or a beading access tip. In some devices, the one or more of a loading access tip, a bead loading hole and/or a beading access tip may be combined. In an embodiment, the loading access tip, bead loading hole, or beading access tip allows the loading of the beads into the device. The bead loading hole and the beading access tip facilitates the beading of a fishing hook. The device(s) may further have one or more of slits or holes to facilitate the beading of the fishing hooks.

A sleeve kit comprising a container sleeve and a sleeve cap which may be engaged with the container sleeve to form a sleeve assembly that envelopes a slush container, the sleeve kit including an attachment system to allow the sleeve cap to be engaged with the container sleeve to form the sleeve assembly and then become disengaged so that the slush container may be removed from the container sleeve. The attachment system may be a single-use attachment system to allow the sleeve cap to be engaged with the container sleeve to form the sleeve assembly. The container sleeve may have a set of at least one vent which allows air to move from an open top end of the container sleeve to a space between a bottom of an inserted slush container and a bottom of the container sleeve to facilitate removal of the slush container from the container sleeve.

Sterile sleeve for use in the production of surgical slush

An incremental syringe is provided and includes a syringe barrel, a finger grip disposed at the proximal end of the syringe barrel, a tab disposed inside the syringe barrel, and a plunger body having detents, wherein the detents are configured to interact with the tab to provide audible and tactile feedback to a user when the plunger body is pushed through the syringe barrel in a distal direction.

Incremental syringe

A medical injection assembly is provided and includes an introducer with a handle, a sheath, a scope lumen configured to receive an endoscope at a first proximal end of the handle and hold the endoscope in a desired position, a cap attached to the distal end of the scope lumen configured to isolate the scope lumen from the external environment, and a cannula lumen configured to receive a cannula at a second proximal end of the handle and hold the cannula in a desired position. The medical injection assembly includes a cannula configured such that the distance between the distal tip of the cannula and the axis defined by the sheath of the introducer increases as the cannula is moved in a distal direction and a syringe.

A medical injection assembly is provided and includes an introducer with a handle, a sheath, and a scope lumen extending from a first proximal end of the handle to a distal end of the sheath, wherein the scope lumen is configured to receive an endoscope at the first proximal end of the handle and hold the endoscope in a desired position. The introducer includes a cannula lumen extending from a second proximal end of the handle to the distal end of the sheath, wherein the cannula lumen is configured to receive a cannula at the second proximal end of the handle and hold the cannula in a desired position. The medical injection assembly includes a cannula configured such that the distance between the distal tip of the cannula and the axis defined by the sheath of the introducer increases as the cannula is moved in a distal direction.

Medical injection assemblies for onabotulinumtoxina delivery and methods of use thereof

Production of sterile therapeutic medium such as sterile surgical slush for use in surgery. A sterile slush container with a sterile sleeve assembly so that the outside of the sterile slush container remains sterile after placement in a non-sterile slush making machine so that the sterile slush container may be returned to the sterile field after removal of the sterile slush container from the sleeve assembly.

Use of sterile sleeve in production of surgical slush

A universal hinged tread system includes a folding stair set with one or more primary treads. At least one auxiliary tread is hingedly attached atop at least one primary tread. The folding stair set includes at least two hingedly attached sections. The hingedly attached sections fold flat against each other when in a stowed position, and every other folding stair section is inverted when in the stowed position. Each auxiliary tread is angularly displaced from its primary tread as its folding stair section is inverted. The auxiliary treads do not obstruct any primary treads on other sections when in a stowed position. The auxiliary treads include a beveled lower front edge to aid the auxiliary treads in deflecting.
