A generally dish-shaped or conical-like head member with clips for securely engaging a typical wire grid used in cushions, seats, and bedding products is disclosed, as well as a similar member using cooperating lobe and trough pairs to hold a grid wire therebetween to fix a spring device in place.

Wire grid attachment member for cushions, seats, foundations and the like

A foot member is disclosed for use in attaching a spring device to a rail for cushions, seats, or foundations for a bedding product. The foot member can straddle and snap into a frame rail, or be stapled or otherwise affixed to a frame rail.

Attachment member for spring or spring-like element

A pneumatic and load-supporting spring device for use in bedding, cushions and the like. The disclosed embodiments have tubular telescoping members that are biased apart by either an elastomer located in the overlapping region, or a helical spring located within the pneumatic cylinder formed by the tubes. A conical or dish-shaped head element with clips for securely engaging a typical wire grid found in many bedding products is also disclosed, as well as a dish-shaped head element using cooperating lobe and trough pairs to hold a grid wire therebetween to fix a spring device in place. A foot element is also disclosed for use in attaching a spring device on the base frame of a typical bedding product. The foot element can straddle and snap into a metal frame rail, or be stapled to a frame rail.

A disc drive isolation system including a disc drive isolation module is disclosed. The isolation module is disposed in the enclosure and has an outer body and an inner body supported within the outer body with the disc drive mounted within the inner body. The mounting of the inner body within the outer body sequesters the disc drive against vibration and shock applied to the outer body. This arrangement enables almost any disc drive to be operated in an industrial environment independent of the shock and vibration characteristics of the environment.

Disc drive isolation system

A disc drive isolation system including an environment control enclosure and a disc drive isolation module is disclosed. A thermo-electric heat pump is mounted to the enclosure for cooling the interior of the enclosure and a fan circulates air within the enclosure. A humidity sensor controls the heat pump and the fan in response to the sensed humidity of the interior air. First and second temperature sensors control the heat pump andthe disc drive, respectively. The isolation module is disposed in the enclosure and has an outer body and an inner body supported within the outer body with the disc drive mounted within the inner body. The mounting of the inner body within the outer body sequesters the disc drive against vibration and shock applied to the outer body. This arrangement enables almost any disc drive to be operated in an industrial environment independent of the temperature, humidity, cleanliness, shock and vibration characteristics of the environment.
