A mounting assembly is provided for mounting a sensing component of an alarm system in a predetermined orientation adjacent to the inner edge of a door or window frame having an outer surface. The assembly includes two angle brackets adapted to fit over the inner edge of the frame, each having a support flange and a positioning flange. A flat planar support surface on each support flange is arranged in a predetermined orientation for receiving thereagainst a flat planar mounting surface of the sensing component mounting member. Locating pins on the support surfaces are receivable in locating holes in the mounting member to facilitate alignment of the screw apertures in the mounting member and bracket for fastening them together and to the door frame. Steps on the positioning flange facilitate cutting same to a desired length.

A horn includes a magnetically permeable housing having a diaphragm attached thereto and an electromagnet also attached to the housing. A carrier member loosely and unattachedly rests on a shelf in the housing and is attached to a striker member of magnetically permeable material. The striker member is located between the diaphragm and the electromagnet and is moved away from and against the diaphragm to generate noise.

The contact connects a circuit element (such as a piezoelectric transducer) to a circuit (such as an oscillator which drives the transducer). The contact comprises a body, an ear which is mechanically and electrically connected to the circuit, and a pair of bifurcated fingers which springingly electrically engage the circuit element. Several such contacts may be used to connect different portions of the circuit to corresponding portions of the circuit element.

Integral contact

A bicycle lock which is adapted for fixedly mounting on a bicycle is the subject matter herein. The subject bicycle lock includes a housing, which has a shackle receptacle rotatably mounted therein. An elongated flexible shackle has one end fixed to the shackle receptacle, and the other releasably connectable to the housing. The flexible shackle is windable upon the shackle receptacle for storage in the housing. A ratchet wheel is fixed to the shackle receptacle for rotation therewith. A lock pin is connected to the other end of the flexible shackle, and is positionable in the housing. The lock pin has a dog, which is engageable with the ratchet wheel to limit rotation of the ratchet wheel and the shackle receptacle to one direction for winding the flexible shackle onto the receptacle. The dog is removable from the housing with the lock pin to allow the flexible shackle to be unloaded from the shackle receptacle. A lock is mounted in the housing, and is engageable with the lock pin to hold selectively the lock pin in the housing, with the dog in a position for engagement with the ratchet wheel.
