A motorised fluid metering valve includes an inlet pipe, a discharge pipe and a motor moving a piston that can move linearly between a closed position in which a distal end of the piston sealingly engages with a seat of matching shape, and an open position. The valve is configured to have a flow rate that varies continuously between the closed position and the open position depending on an axial position of the piston. The inlet pipe opens in a periphery of the discharge pipe, with a constant protuberance regardless of the position of the piston, the protuberance not extending radially beyond a barycentre of the discharge pipe. Also, the motor is a rotary electric motor moving the piston in translation.

Fluid metering valve

A positioning actuator includes a stator assembly and a rotor, a printed circuit provided with electronic components, as well as a reduction gear for driving a rotary member. It includes two complementary blocks, the first block being made up of a shell having thermal conductivity no lower than 1 W/m/K, the first block including the reduction gear and having a passage for the output shaft of the reducing gear as well as an open opposing surface; the second block being formed by overmoulding the stator assembly and having a rear bearing recess for the rotor, the second block having a joining surface which complements a joining surface of the first block. The actuator also includes the electronic circuit which is positioned in a space defined between the first and second blocks. The disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing such an actuator.

Positioning actuator and manufacturing method

An electrically controlled valve for the circulation of hot fluids is made up of an electromagnetic actuator and a valve. The valve has an opening provided with a movable sealing member driven by a rotation shaft perpendicular to the axis of the opening, the electromagnetic actuator driving the rotation of the shaft, the output shaft of the actuator being substantially coaxial with the rotation shaft. The front end of the rotation shaft and the front end of the output shaft are not in direct contact. The coupling between the rotation shaft of the valve and the output shaft of the actuator is provided by a coupling member placed between the front end of the output shaft and the front end of the shaft. The coupling member transmitting rotation torque with a misalignment tolerance between the output shaft and the rotation shaft of the valve. The valve also having thermally insulation for mechanical connection between peripheral areas of the body of the actuator and the body of the valve.
