A plaster device serves for fixating a length of a medical tube in relation to a skin surface of an individual having the tube inserted into a body part via an opening. The plaster device has an adhesive part having an upper side, an adherent lower side for attaching the plaster device to the skin, a through-opening for receiving the tube, a support part at least partly attached to the upper side of the adhesive part and arranged for supporting a bent length of the inserted tube, and a fastener for securing the tube on the support part. The support part is an integral unit having a branched-off portion defining at least one recess for accommodating at least a part of the fastener, preferably a fastener that is elastic. A frictional force between the tube and the fastener guarantees that the tube is prevented from moving or displacing to the patient's discomfort. The convex shape of the upper supporting surface provides a smooth anti-kinking support and guidance for the bended tube.

Plaster device for supporting a bended length of a tube

A plaster device serves for fixating a length of a medical tube in relation to a skin surface of an individual having said tube inserted into a body part via an opening. The plaster device is of the kind including an adhesive part having an upper side, an adherent lower side for attaching the plaster device to the skin, and a through-opening for receiving the tube, a support part at least partly attached to the upper side of the adhesive part and arranged for supporting a bent length of said inserted tube, and fastenings means for securing the tube on the support part. The support part is an integral unit having a branched-off portion defining at least one recess for accommodating at least a part of a fastening means, preferably elastic means. A frictional force between the tube and the fastening means guarantees that the tube is prevented from moving or displacing to cause patient discomfort. The convex shape of the upper supporting surface provides a smooth anti-kinking support and guidance for the bended tube.

A plaster device serves for fixating a length of a medical tube in relation to a skin surface of an individual having the tube inserted into a body part via an access opening. The plaster device includes an adhesive part having an upper side an adherent lower side for attaching the device to the skin, and a through-opening for receiving the tube. A support part is provided on the upper side of the adhesive part and arranged for supporting an inserted tube at a bent section. The support part is partly joined to the adhesive part and includes first and second oppositely facing jaws for taking hold of at least a section of the bent tube. The jaws are interconnected at oppositely facing first ends by a support section arranged adjacent to the through-opening in the adhesive part.

Plaster device

A fixation device for fixating a catheter relative to a skin surface part of a person which catheter defines an outer diameter and is introduced into the interior of the person through the skin surface part substantially perpendicularly relative thereto through a perforation site. The fixation device comprises a pad element to be arranged adjacent to the perforation site and defining a convex marginal surface having a radius of curvature of at least one order of magnitude larger than the outer diameter of the catheter. The marginal surface provides a support surface in relation to the catheter positioned in facial contact therewith for arranging the catheter in a loop and turning the catheter from an orientation substantially perpendicularly relative to the skin surface part to an orientation substantially parallelly with the skin surface part and for preventing the catheter from sliding along the marginal surface. The fixation device further comprises a cover foil of a foil material having opposite first and second surfaces and defining a first end, an adhesive material applied to the first surface of the cover foil, and a connecting foil being connected to the cover foil at the first end thereof and constituting an extension thereof. The pad element is connected to and supported by the connecting foil, which defines a transition area between the supporting element and the cover foil. A folding line is defined within the transition area and the cover foil is foldable onto the pad element along the folding line for arranging the first surface of the cover foil facing towards the pad element for adhering to the skin surface part, for fixating the catheter relative to the pad element and for covering the perforation site.
