A shelf includes a floor plate, a cam plate, and a first pin joint plate. The cam plate extends away from an upper surface of the floor plate. A top edge of the cam plate is opposite a bottom edge of the cam plate that is mounted to the upper surface and has a concave shape that curves inward toward the upper surface. The first pin joint plate is mounted to the floor plate to extend away from a lower surface of the floor plate. The first pin joint plate is configured to mate with a second pin joint plate mounted to a first wall. The top edge of the cam plate is positioned to abut a tab mounted to the second wall when the floor plate is rotated toward the second wall. The upper surface faces the second wall when the floor plate is rotated toward the second wall.

A refrigerator door includes an insulated door panel, a first hinge, and a second hinge used to mount the refrigerator door to a refrigerator body. The door panel includes a refrigerator section, a freezer section, a gasket channel, and a gasket. The freezer section is mounted below the refrigerator section to cover a freezer compartment when the refrigerator door is closed. The gasket channel is formed in the insulated door panel surrounding only the refrigerator section. The gasket is mounted in the gasket channel to seal the refrigerator compartment when the refrigerator door is closed. The first hinge is attached to a top surface of the insulated door panel above the refrigerator section. The second hinge is attached to a bottom surface of the insulated door panel below the freezer section. The freezer section is not surrounded by any gasket mounted to the insulated door panel.

A method of making a gasket track for a gasket is provided. A first section of a c-shaped channel comprising from 50% to 75% of the c-shaped channel of a first plastic material is formed. A second section of a c-shaped channel comprising from 25% to 50% of the c-shaped channel of a second plastic material is formed. The first section is joined together with the second section to form all of the c-shaped channel. The c-shaped channel has a circular cross section that forms at least 65% of an ellipse.

Door manufacturing method for a freezer drawer

A beverage identification tile is provided that includes a sheet of material and a plurality of beverage type identifiers. The sheet of material has a first face and a second face which have a polygonal shape defined by a plurality of edges. A different beverage type identifier of the plurality of beverage type identifiers is printed along each edge of the plurality of edges of the first face and of the second face. A shelf labeling system includes a shelf, a plurality of slots, and the beverage identification tile. The shelf includes a front wall, a back wall, and a base mounted between the front wall and the back wall. The sheet of material is sized to slide into a slot of the plurality of slots formed in the front wall along an edge of the front wall with a beverage type identifier visible above the edge.

An appliance comprises a body and a door panel and/or drawer panel movable between a home position, an open position, and an over-travel position. A cosmetic panel may be coupled to the door and/or drawer panel. The appliance may further include an installation system and/or a positioning device. The positioning device is configured to bias the door and/or drawer panels to the home position from the over-travel position. The installation system is configured to establish the front-to-back alignment of the appliance. The installation system may be a direct mount installation system. The installation system may include an adjustment system configured to facilitate positioning the cosmetic panel to be co-planar with the surrounding cabinetry. The adjustment mechanism may further help establish small and consistent reveals.

A refrigerator comprises a body defining a refrigerated enclosure, a door movable between a closed position and an open position, a hinge comprising a first member coupled to the body and a second member coupled to the door and pivotably coupled to the first member, and a closure mechanism configured to provide a varying force to the door depending on the position of the door relative to the body. The closure mechanism includes a guide slidably mounted in a slot on the first member, a biasing mechanism coupled to the first member, and a closer arm coupled to the door and to the biasing mechanism through the guide.

A refrigerated appliance with a hinged access panel is disclosed. The refrigerated appliance comprises a frame, the panel, and one or more hinges coupling the panel to the frame. Each hinge has a linkage that guides the movement of the panel between a closed position and an open position. The movement of the linkage has a linear component and a rotational component. The refrigerated appliance may include a latch configured to retain the panel in the open position. The refrigerated appliance may include one or more biasing elements configured to bias the panel toward the open position.
