A sealed flange includes a seal (or) and a flange (or). The outer perimeter of a flange (or) has tabs (or) interspaced with notches (or). The outer perimeter of a seal (or) has spacers (or) interspersed with gaps (or). When the seal (or) is disposed along the outer perimeter of the flange (or), the tabs (or) fit in the gaps (or) of the seal (or) while the spacers (or) fit in the notches (or) of the flange (or). The outer perimeter of the sealed flange comprises the outermost edges of the tabs (or) of the flange (or) and the outmost edges of the spacers (or) of the seal (or).

Seal having gaps

A retainer clip for use in assemblies held together by a latch having a resilient engagement arm. The force holding the engagement arm in the latched position is a function of the resiliency of the material of the engagement arm and the length of the unsupported portion of the engagement arm. The retainer clip attaches to a part of the assembly by holding the part between a retaining lip and an engagement side to position the retainer clip to bear against the engagement arm. The retainer clip supports the engagement arm to shorten the length of the unsupported portion of the engagement arm thereby increasing the force holding the engagement arm in the latched position.

A fluid delivery system for delivering a supply of a fluid from a fluid source to a fuel injector includes a rail for conveying a fluid and being positionable proximate the fuel injector. The rail has a fluid passageway defined therein, the fluid passageway being in fluid communication with the source of fluid. A connector is in fluid communication with both the rail and with the fuel injector for fluidly connecting the rail to the fuel injector. The connector is universally moveable in three axes for accommodating static tolerances existing between the rail and the fuel injector and for accommodating dynamic relative motion between the rail and the fuel injector such that stresses imposed on the fuel injector resulting from being attached to the rail are substantially eliminated.
