The coloured indications are provided on the article along the liquid side barriers to indicate the presence of the liquid side barriers to a user, the coloured indications being provided underneath at least one layer of translucent material so as to be visible through the at least one layer of translucent material while avoiding direct contact with the user's skin.

Disposable hygiene article

Disposable hygiene article having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core. The article is releasably attached to a garment and has liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core. The article has a front portion, oriented upwards during use, having a tapering shape with a maximum width of the front portion, measured between first left and right edge points, and a minimum width, measured between second left and right edge points. A first imaginary connection line connects the first right edge point to the second right edge point and a second imaginary connection line connects the first left edge point to the second left edge point. The first and second imaginary connection lines extend in an angle ranging between 60° and 90° with the transverse direction T and have a length of at least 15% of the full length of the article.

The present disclosure relates to a sanitary article (), such as a sanitary napkin or a pantiliner. The sanitary article () has a first fastening wing () extending at a first longitudinal side edge () and a second fastening wing () extending at a second longitudinal side edge (), the first fastening wing () having a first wing maximum width (W) and the second fastening wing () having a second wing maximum width (W). The first fastening wing () comprises a first adhesive region () on a garment facing side thereof and the second fastening wing () comprises a second adhesive region () on a garment facing side thereof, the first and the second adhesive regions () having a respective adhesive region maximum width (w, w). The first and the second adhesive region () are covered with a common release paper (), the common release paper () having a width (w), as seen in the transverse direction. The first and the second fastening wings () are arranged in a folded configuration onto the topsheet () in a non-overlapping manner. The first and second fastening wings () are asymmetrical with respect to any transverse and longitudinal axis and the width of the release paper (w) is not more than 7 mm greater than the sum of the first and the second adhesive region maximum widths, w+w.

Disposable hygiene article comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core, flexible side flaps arranged on opposite sides of the absorbent core for attaching the article to a garment, and liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core. The flexible side flaps each comprise at least a side layer which is secured to the topsheet by means of a seam, the seam partitioning the side layer in a first part and a second part with the first part extending from the seam towards the longitudinal centre axis and the second part extending from the seam away from said longitudinal centre axis. The first parts form the liquid side barriers.

A package has an outer enclosure enclosing absorbent units and being at least partially non-opaque, wherein said outer enclosure has a thickness which is less than 70 μm, and wherein the outer enclosure is at least partly of a first predetermined colour and the absorbent units are at least partly of a second predetermined colour as viewed through the outer enclosure. The absorbent units have at least one lightly coloured or light grey area and the outer enclosure has a dominant area covering a substantial part of the area of the outer enclosure and having a lightness value above 75, and the colour difference between the dominant area and the lightly coloured or light grey area as seen through the outer enclosure is chosen so that the absorbent units are generally not visible through the outer enclosure.

An absorbent disposable article, such as a diaper, panty diaper, panty liner, sanitary napkin or incontinence device is disclosed. The article has a porous polymer-based structure obtainable by a process of: (a) depositing and photopolymerizing, layer-by-layer in accordance with a predetermined 3D model, an emulsion having an external continuous phase surrounding droplets of an internal phase having has one or more photopolymerizable monomers and/or oligomers and a photopolymerization initiator; and (b) removing the internal phase from the continuous polymer phase formed from the one or more photopolymerizable monomers and/or oligomers. The process produces a monolithic porous structure having three types of pores: (i) pores resulting from the location from which the internal phase was removed, (ii) pores interconnecting the pores according to (i), and (iii) pores as predetermined by the 3D model. An absorbent article having a main body having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is disclosed. The main body has longitudinal and transversal axes. The article has two wings extending asymmetrically outwardly from a crotch portion of the main body in opposite directions with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings are provided with means for fastening them to a garment when folded over the main body and towards the longitudinal axis. Each wing has an outer edge which defines at least one arc of a circle having a radius coinciding with a section of the outer edge. The section extends between a first point and a second point along the outer edge where the arc no longer coincides with the outer edge. The radius is between 40-500 mm. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the absorbent article.

Absorbent article and method for manufacturing an absorbent article

An absorbent article having a main body having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is disclosed. The main body has longitudinal and transversal axes. The article has two wings extending asymmetrically outward from a crotch portion of the main body with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings each have a means for fastening them to a garment when folded over the main body towards the longitudinal axis. The fastening means for each wing are offset from each other in the longitudinal direction. A method for manufacturing the absorbent article is also disclosed.

An absorbent product includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core includes an absorbent fibrous layer and a liquid inlet foam layer and the absorbent core includes a transversally central liquid inlet region extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core. Within the liquid inlet region, the liquid inlet foam layer is covered by a plurality of inlet openings and has a transversal width, which is equal to, or up to 9 mm smaller than, the minimum transversal width of the absorbent fibrous layer. The liquid inlet foam layer also has side edge regions arranged in front and rear portions of the absorbent core transversally outside of the liquid inlet region, and within which the liquid inlet foam layer is free from liquid inlet openings.
