A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform facilitating display of instructions to a user interface of a mobile device of a user on how to rotate a medication package in front of a camera of the mobile device to capture a video of a rotated view of a non-planar surface of the medication package; capturing, using the camera, the video of the rotated view of the non-planar surface; generating, using an input pre-processing algorithm, a series of images from the video; recognizing, using an output post-processing algorithm, respective words from the respective machine-readable text data; merging, using a merging algorithm, the respective words from the images to create lines of text; and extracting, using a machine learning algorithm, prescription data associated with prescription data fields from the lines of text. This application relates generally to systems and methods for identification of facets for associated items in a datastore. In an embodiment, a method performed by a computing device includes: receiving, from a supplier device, a first item dataset characterizing a first item purchasable on a sales platform. The method also includes associating the first item with a facet in accordance with an instruction from an internal merchant device, where the facet is separate from the first item dataset, and where the facet may be selected to differentiate the first item from a second item purchasable on the sales platform. The method also includes retrieving the facet from a datastore in response to an item request from a customer device. The method also includes retrieving the first item dataset from a datastore in response to a selection of the facet from the customer device.

In some embodiments, a method can comprise preparing a comparison table by for comparing the one or more second items to the first item by: determining an item ranking of one or more second items based at least in part on an attribute ranking for each of one or more second attributes, presenting for display in the comparison table the set of the one or more second items and an associated first item, and presenting for display proximate to the comparison table a second set of the one or more second items, the second set of the one or more second items comprising a second predetermined number of the one or more second items comprising one or more next top rankings based on the item ranking of the one or more second items.
