Method and apparatus are provided for priority fallback of SUCI calculation. In accordance with some implementation, a UE may transmit, in response to receiving an indication of authentication failure for a first SUCI based on a first SUCI parameter, a second SUCI based on a second SUCI parameter different from the first SUCI parameter. In accordance with some implementation, the UE may further transmit a SUCI with NULL SUCI parameter if the UE determines all SUCI parameters supported by the UE has been rejected by the network.

Priority fallback of SUCI calculation

A mobile device may be configured to determine, in a secure portion of the mobile device, whether a non-volatile indication (e.g., a fuse or non-volatile bit or flag) allocated to lender binding has been set. A mobile device processor may query a payment server associated with a lender of the mobile device to determine a next payment due date in response to determining that the non-volatile indication allocated to lender binding has been set, and select an operating mode for the mobile device based on a difference between the next payment due date and the current date.

Methods, systems, and devices for multi-subscription management are described. A user equipment (UE) supporting a dual-subscriber identify module (SIM) configuration may identify a message to disable a subscription associated with a first SIM of a dual-SIM universal SIM (USIM) card. Managing concurrent access to universal integrated circuit cards

The apparatus determines whether a subscriber identification module (SIM) card is a first network SIM card or a second network SIM card. The apparatus performs an unlock sequence for personalization based on a subscriber permanent identifier (SUPI) if the SIM card is determined to be a first network SIM card. The unlock sequence may include determining whether a SUPI of the first network SIM card matches with a SUPI stored in a secure file system (SFS) at the UE. The unlock sequence may further include initializing the UE to a network if the SUPI of the first network SIM card matches with the SUPI stored in the SFS at the UE.

The apparatus determines whether a subscriber identification module (SIM) card is an embedded universal circuit card (eUICC) or a non-eUICC while in a subsidy locked state. The apparatus performs a profile sequence to determine available network profiles if the SIM card is the eUICC. Methods for obtaining network services on a mobile communication device may include attaching the mobile communication device to a first network associated with a first subscription supported by a first profile stored on an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) on the mobile communication device, caching, in memory on the mobile communication device, the first profile corresponding to the first subscription, deactivating the first subscription of the eUICC on the mobile communication device without detaching from the first network, caching, in memory on the mobile communication device, a second profile stored on the eUICC corresponding to a second subscription, activating the first subscription of the eUICC, and monitoring for paging indicators directed to the second subscription utilizing the cached second profile.

Obtaining multiple subscription services from an embedded universal integrated circuit card

Aspects of the disclosure are related to a method, apparatus and system for determining whether mobile network functions of a locked device are to be permitted to operate, comprising: retrieving an IMS 'IP Multimedia Subsystem' Private User Identity (IMPI) stored on a Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) installed in the locked device; determining whether a configured condition relating to the IMPI stored on the UICC is met; and permitting the mobile network functions of the locked device to operate in response to determining that the configured condition is met.
