A communication procedure may be used for multiple access. A wireless device may be capable of simultaneously accessing a plurality of networks that are associated with a visited network. The visited network may or may not allow the wireless device to simultaneously access the plurality of networks, for example, based on a status of the visited network. Prior to a wireless device requesting access to a plurality of networks, a visited network may indicate whether the visited network supports, for the wireless device, simultaneous access to a plurality of networks.

Multiple access

A wireless device may be configured to perform a method including receiving, from a time sensitive network (TSN) translator device, a TSN parameter. The wireless device may also send, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a non-access stratum (NAS) message indicating a request to establish a protocol data unit (PDU) session comprising the one or more TSN parameters. The wireless device may receive, from the AMF, a message indicating acceptance of the PDU session.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A network function device, such as a policy control function device, may send a policy and charging control rule that is based on one or more Ethernet medium access control (MAC) addresses. For example, the policy control function device may send the policy and charging control rule to a session management function device to provide a packet data unit (PDU) session for a wireless device.

A method may include receiving, by a base station distributed unit from a wireless device not in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state an RRC request message for a small data transmission (SDT) procedure and uplink data associated with the SDT procedure. The method may also include sending, to a base station central unit, the RRC request message for the SDT procedure. The method may further include receiving, from the base station central unit, a message that includes radio link control (RLC) configuration parameters for the SDT procedure and a field indicating that the RLC configuration parameters are for the SDT procedure. The method may additionally include sending the uplink data to the base station central unit in accordance with the field.

A session management function (SMF) receives, from a wireless device, a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request message requesting establishment of a PDU session associated with an application and offloaded processing of data from the wireless device to an application server associated with the application. The SMF sends, to the wireless device, a response message indicating a rejection or an acceptance of the offloaded processing of data.

A second access and mobility management function (AMF) may receive a first message having positioning capability information indicating that a location management component (LMC) supports one or more positioning types. The second AMF may receive, from a first AMF, a second message indicating a positioning type of a wireless device. The second AMF may send, to a base station associated with the LMC, a third message having an identifier of the LMC.

The wireless device transitions, based on the suspend configuration, to the RRC inactive state. The wireless device applies, in the RRC inactive state, the conditional cell configuration. The applying is based on determining to transition, via the second cell, to an RRC connected state, and the indication to allow the wireless device to apply the conditional cell configuration in the RRC inactive state.

A wireless device receives, from an SMF, a message for a PDU session establishment, wherein the message comprises a configuration information for determining whether one or more packets are associated with a plurality of packets of a data unit (DU) based on a timestamp field of the one or more packets. The wireless device determines, based on the configuration information, that a first packet, comprising a first timestamp field, is one of a first plurality of packets of a first DU, and a second packet, comprising a second timestamp field, is one of the first plurality of packets of the first DU. The wireless device sends, to a base station, the first packet and the second packet.

A session management function (SMF) sends, to a policy and charging control function (PCF), a request for policy information of a wireless device, the request comprising a parameter of a time sensitive networking (TSN) bridge, wherein the parameter comprises port information of the TSN bridge. The SMF receives, from the PCF, a response to the request, the response comprising the policy information of the wireless device.

A base station central unit sends, to a base station distributed unit, a request message for a context configuration of a wireless device, wherein the request message comprises a field indicating that the wireless device is only allowed to access a cell that is associated with at least one closed access group. The base station central unit receives, from the base station distributed unit, an acknowledge message comprising cell configuration parameters of one or more cells for the context configuration of the wireless device, wherein the one or more cells are associated with at least one first closed access group.

A wireless device sends, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request comprising an indication for a multimedia priority service (MPS). The wireless device receives, from the AMF, an establishment indication of the PDU session.
