In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus, comprising a receiver configured to receive information describing a first set comprising at least one first environmental radio condition, at least one processing core configured to determine, whether at least one of the at least one first environmental condition is fulfilled, and at least one transmitter configured to cause an indication that the at least one first environmental condition is fulfilled to be sent to a network. The set may comprise a radio fingerprint, which may be received in a user equipment from a base station.

Method and apparatus for connection management

In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus, comprising: a receiver configured to receive a first message, the first message comprising an indication of a determination that a user equipment is in physical proximity of a first cell, at least one processor configured to determine whether the first cell is available to the user equipment, and the at least one processor being configured to, responsive to a determination the first cell is available to the user equipment, cause a second message to be transmitted to the user equipment, the second message comprising an instruction for the user equipment to perform at least one measurement to discover the first cell.

Measurement configuration

A method and apparatus for fast interference signaling is provided. The method may include configuring, by an evolved node B (eNB), at least one user equipment to indicate to the eNB when an activity state of at least one interferer changes. Based on the indicated activity state, the eNB can schedule the at least one user equipment in muted subframes of the interferer or almost blank subframes (ABS).
